@XenoTitan it sounds like you honestly just dont know how to deal with Chara. If you know how their stuff, works, you can kind of circumvent alot of their kit. For one, they dont have a reliable guard break other than FOUND YOU which is incredibly unsafe. You should try playing AS them against experienced players for the best example of how the grass always seems greener on the other side.

Look you know why im here- Who the hell thought it was a good idea to fuse every annoying character into one? I made the mistake of playing Bouncer(He's def not bad) against the Vixen-Red Mist-Cowboy-Miko-Gilded Guy fusion character, and what do you know? I had a bad time. Funnily enough Miko and cowboy are the only stressful characters listed, everyone else is digestible by themselves but...you feckin put all them all together. This doesn't really make the mod bad tho at least not bad for the person using Chara :Skul:

References in order: Vixen's speed(but not their fragility), Red Mist's habit of chasing hit stun like crazy and negging bursts(Even easier with Chara), Cowboy and Miko are just not fun to play against in general, and Gilded Guy had a nasty heal and gigantic supers, haven't played him in a long while tho.

I'm personally in a somewhat iffy place regarding this iteration, named Chara, based heavily off the fanon interpretation of genocide Frisk. They have their own unique traits and abilities unrelated to The First Fallen and Frisk, which I think constitutes them being their own AU character/original take. There's no rules saying an AU or original take on an existing character needs to retain any traits from the original- Including gender and pronouns. Eminence's Chara going by she/her does not fall under the false belief of The First Fallen and Frisk's gender being up to interpretation because of this, in my personal opinion.
Then again, there's nothing stopping anyone from simply referring to them as they/them if this makes them uncomfortable, as I do. They are gender-neutral pronouns, and not exclusive to one being non-binary.

And putting this here regarding the comments on Chara's pronouns:

The player, the First Fallen and Frisk are all separate entities. The First Fallen and Frisk are strictly referred to via they/them, back in 2015 before most people knew what being non-binary was, they assumed this meant they were androgynous and up to the player's interpretation. There's comments that go around saying Frisk is supposed to be a self-insert, and some think this may extend to The First Fallen whom is our narrator, but this is untrue.
There is no self-insert character's in UNDERTALE, as we, the player, are our own entity. This is directly confirmed after the true pacifist ending, where Flowey talks to *US*, not Frisk.
Frisk and The First Fallen are non-binary.

You must land the mercy kill and let your opponent's SOUL return to their body to SPARE. The opponent can control their soul with the DI wheel.

The three healthbars Chara has are purely visual, they have the standard max health of 15000.
Their SAVE-points are vulnerable and can be attacked to deal damage to Chara and force them into disadvantage, and using the move [LOAD] will also heal the opponent back if they have a SAVE-point of their own. Chara can circumvent this through use of DP-[SAVE] or [QUICK SAVE] which weakens their neutral presence due to needing to defend said SAVE-point as to not get force-loaded.
[SOUL SAVE] is very strong, as it lets Chara DP-Load through use of a toggle, but it only lasts 400 frames, and you can still force-load Chara via killing them to delete the [SOUL SAVE]. This will revive Chara with 500 health and cancel any hitstun (they need to play out the DP-Load animation still).

what are these people on about, chara doesn't go by any pronouns, they are adrogynous, not non-binary. They can be called whatever. regardless amazing mod!

@Eclipse, get some utility mods. The multiple health bars are for show. Chara has a total of 15K hp as any other character.

This character is wildly unfair. Already somebody with more than one health bar, putting them above most other characters. if that wasn't already overpowered, this character can also create a save point and if they ever lose any amount of health, they can simply reload and all of the damage done prior is now gone. Meanwhile any damage they did is still there.

I'd recommend removing the alternate health bars or changing the reload function to heal the enemy as well. if thats not possible then the first option.

Actually, I need some help with the whole mod... It is crashing the game whenever I try to open any replays that have the character in it and I'm not sure how to fix it. Does someone has any idea?

Excuse me, I need to ask: does someone knows how to fix "Forsaken Mercy" in order for the replay not to bug? Every time I try this move I kind of lose the rest of the replay because it fills with lag :/

iunno about most, but for Shadow Monarch you need to use the ACT that makes you sit down (and not eat something, JUST sit) while you have the install from lvl20 that makes shadows continuously spawn active

how to do some achievements? especially "spare" "how is it to have FUN" "shadow monarch" "AGAIN" please tell me. and what can i recieve for doing all of them?

There should be a "Mercy" option (Or something along those lines) that is a hustle. If someone else uses they're hustle then Chara will attack and they will basically be a corpse on the ground. I think you need to do it on a online match for the achievement and some of the modded characters hustle don't trigger it (Example: Animosity). Hope this helps, @EtherealEcho

looks really cool, excellent sound design, visuals, etc, but also she can just loop you in the air if you DI up against her so you just die
also does way too much damage overall, so. bad. unfun to play against.

i dont like playing against it, so i uninstalled it. Great visuals, great audio, i can see that a great amount of work has been put into this, but its just not fun to fight.

how do you get music choices when activating forsaken mercy? One guy had 5 song options. is it all achievements or some?

i agree with i play sonic games on a lot of this and i find it all incredibly funny. because the actual like. icon image looks good. it looks normal. no visible chest, gender ambiguous face. then ingame there's a weirdly defined chest and in the desc it's all 'her'

Of course this is all small things (except for 3) and I understand why they did this. I would just like to say that out of all things. I do not have any ill intent against anyone who worked on this mod. This is one of my new favorite characters to play and I understand that some people do think Chara or Frisk should have genders. And while I do disagree I have no right to say that your opinion is wrong as it is an opinion and I will respect it. Regardless of the one detail that implies this Chara having a gender the sprite work is still amazing and I do not mean to dishonor the work that went into it. Thank you for your hard work and effort to bring us yet another great character in this neat little game we all play. Thank you for your understanding

I have seen the rest of the people who realized you gave Chara a gender and they are genderless, that is very true, I will do my best to be reasonable and not mad for no real reason.

I have three problems with it.
1:Chara being genderless is important to the story of UT (Undertale) as you name them in the beginning of the game you name them (usually your own name) for a the twist at the end. This means that Chara is technically a character made so the player can insert themself as Chara for a time until the ending. Meaning they would need to be genderless so that anyone can identify themself as the character

2:The fact you did this isn't shown in the covor art for the mod. Meaning you would only notice it once you play the character

3:Chara is a child. The sprite for this character has tits... on a child

Just asking here because I can't find the confidence to ask in the discord, nor do I have the internet required right now to fight online without disconnecting; how do you unlock Confidence, Arrogance, and Griddy in the [ACT] UI? is it connected to achievements?
