i've noticed they dont work with the Arc9 MW2019 weapon pack, just something to keep in mind if you rely on those weapons.

other than that i've had no issues with it other than that one mod conflict

these models are very detailed. I'm to look into reducing the vertice count so the models don't take up so much space

You need the override game detection for it to work. In the first box select Unreal Engine 5 and in the second box select Unreal Engine 5.4

Path to game files - just "The Forever Winter".

Viev / export object types - Sleketal mesh, Animation, Static mesh - on. Morph target - off.

Material, Texture and Lightmap - off, Vertex Mesh - on.

Never add "Compact paths", platform set to "Auto".

In Export-only types nothing selected.

"Override game detection" also off.

Still gives an error... Actually - it prompts me to choose a version of Unreal Engine every time, and no matter what I choose - an error occurs. Here is an example of it now:

Try unchecking the Material/Texture/Lightmap options in the View / export object types section. I've had it crash with the Mother Courage because it couldn't load the materials.

Hello. I also want to extract models (and much more) from the game in order to transfer them to Garry's Mod, but I encountered a strange problem in the form of an error when trying to open any file. I am working on those NPCs right now. Were you able to get sound files from the game like for soldiers or guns? IT would be great if I had access to those for making the npcs.

No, not the polygon count. UE5 has a thing called Nanite for LODs. It's messing with the programs i use to get models and it makes a bunch of stuff look horrible, like looking at a lower LOD meant to be seen at a distance, but close up.

9 playermodels, 5 helmet props, and a multitude of weapon props. These came from UE5 too, so they're high-poly. Hence the gigabyte. I didn't know it was that much until I uploaded it.
