I agree with woshee, just because it isn’t a photo doesn’t mean it can’t be realistic most of the textures are fine but the secondary looks off, maybe it’s the scalings fault but it still does

I am not asking to make it flat lol, I hate flat war paints, that texture just needs to change to look less bad.

There is a lot of war paints in game, all of them had different level of detail, textures are done in that way to help bring a feel of unique item.

Readability not an issue here, it looks pretty readable to me in game.
I will not make a boring/flat war paints, i have all the skills to do something unique.

I think the problem texture is the first one on the 3rd image of the showcase, everything else is okay. It really looks bad from afar and okay-ish on the in-game screenshot.

All textures are hand-drawn, it's not bordering on being realistic. Also i think you can't implement this texture even more simpler,

I think this seems bordering on being too realistic of textures for the game, especially the secondary rock texture.
