That's an interesting idea. I know that at some points some chinese made
mini 14 clones chambered in 7.62x39 made it to the canuck market,making
the idea appealing.

There's one major issue thought:I suck at animating (and at porting anims
from others games into nmrih) sadly.

If I may throw out a mod idea,how about the l4d mini-14 for the sks but have it be stripper clip fed like this mod for l4d2:

It would make sense as a 7.62x39 mini-30,so you would have it not be a different caliber like the m1 garand or svt-40 mod,and it would be an actual different gun and not just a different variant like the norinco type-56 mod.
