That would be a good idea, but for a separate mod.
Wouldn't it be great if lightning also occur in any other place during pre-cycle?

can you add an option for just the lightning effect, so that it just flashes in the background without interacting with anything in the rooms, it's just that I like the effect not the actual explosions because it's so constant

Hey! I just wanted to ask if modded region support might ever be added, because this would be AMAZING in the ORIGINAL stormy coast! And in other places, but I'd just decrease the chance for those and make it toggleable in remix

If you make it work with modded regions can you make it optional, i don't want to see lightning in luminous cove i don't think it would look good or fit the style

Can you make lightning in memory crypts a bit less common last time i was there it was much too common in my opinion it should not be a constant storm instead it should be occasional lightning strikes you have to remember that memory crypts is probably a lot bigger than we see in game it should be a uncommon event but it still happens quite a bit (possibly half the chance)

Its so fucking cool. I entered memory crypts and got blasted immediately. I was barely even thinking about the miros birds I was trying not to get Bolt of Zeus'd by pebbles every time i left cover

@Painbringer3000 Upon further analysis, despite my file modifications not changing the end of cycle weather, most of The Exterior has seemingly been given rain by my mod. Updates may take a bit longer while I try to diagnose the issue.

Strange thing I noticed, it seems like this mod changes the end-of-cycle lighting storm into just regular rain. Any way you can fix that? :>

Due to popular demand I will be creating a second mod which handles only visuals while this mod will be repurposed to handle lethal lightning with the cosmetic one as a dependency. You can expect this change within the next 5 days.

@Storm0267 Those leg rooms and that lone Underhang room were intentional. The leg rooms mainly for the fact that the updated Watcher lightning looks out of place given the extreme verticality of the rooms and how much of the sky is blocked out. That right Underhang room is because that is on the far eastern edge of the superstructure where the storm would be thinning out and logically this room would be very close to his east wall given it being east of The Leg.

i noticed the thunder is better in general with this mod. its AWESOME. one another note i noticed leg rooms and the lone underhang room to the right of the leg have no updated lighting\thunder.
this mod also makes memory crypts a little more dangerous, entertaining.
