It still works for me. No crashes or anything.

The only downside is that my game freezes for a minute when trying to spawn the carrier, but it is fine after that. :NATO:

Yeah still not working, I moved all the gerald ford mods up got rid of the extra F18 and f35 mods and its still crashing. The loading bar will say Loading complete loading mission, then it will go to like 80% then its like the game Alt-f4 its just shuts down instantly. Im gonna try removing all mods except this and try again.

Yeah its worked for me before and yeah all 3 versions crash for me. I do have other F35 mods let me get rid of them and move the Gerald R Ford up and see if that works.

@DocRoe are all 3 versions of the ship crashing? Did it ever work for you? I haven't updated the mod recently so if it worked before and not now, perhaps you have a conflict (a different F-35 mod maybe)? Try moving the mod higher in your load order. I have a clean copy of the game on a different PC and it works fine for me.

Any chance you could swap out the standard E2Cs with the E2Ds for all except the Legacy version? The Ford class carries Ds IRL

Would you be able to make texture of the ship more similar to nimitz ? It would look much better with all the detail and darker deck maybe

@Nick, make sure to have Anchor Chain properly installed, I had a similar problem, but was able to fix it, there are a couple more things to do besides downloading the files via Steam.

Having issues with the F18s & F35s taking off, they are just stuck in the waiting phase... Hawk eyes launch straight away

@mobius, I moved the recovery station to elevator 3 so simultaneous takeoff/landings should be working now. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Small suggestion: You should remove the heli near the port side elevator and make landing planes use it instead of the first starboard elevator, that way you could launch and recover planes simultaneously (which is one of the main raison d'être of angled decks)

Hey @Mundorf and geographyRyan, the F-18 mod has a high polygon count so it makes the
loading slow. Sometimes it looks like it's frozen but if you give it a minute, it loads.

I would say maybe check your Anchor Chain and Sea Lifter. I just completed a rather long mission in witch I switched out the Nimitz with the Ford and I had no problem. I dose take a little time to load though. It can take as long two to three minutes to load in the encyclopedia.

Im trying to put the f35 mod into your flight deck but i cant seem to work I insterted this
usaf-f35=Squadron1,8
inbetween the growler and 18F squadrons but it dosnt work if you could let me know if I can or how to fix this

@522528028 Not sure what's causing your issues but I don't think it's the mod. Have you installed Sealifter correctly? Otherwise, try moving it up the mod ranking as it might be conflicting with another mod.

Moreover, the F/A18-F can only carry AIM-9x and fuel tanks in any mode.

How would I do that? I subscribed and downloaded it and enabled it in game. Like I said I am not very apt in the computer sector, but I really do want this to work since I was deployed on the Enterprise.

I appreciate the inclusion of sealifter instructions, let alone letting ppl know it isn't just the mod u need for it to work, that is rare. I have already installed it, but it was a pain in the ass figuring it all out the first time. Cool mod good sir.

@newmanh19 i had some folks say that on my scenario i made, their solution was to install anchorchain and sealifter. There is a process on how to install it if you have not manually done that yet.

Removed "AircraftSupported=" so you can now use custom aircraft.

I will add F-35s with permission once someone makes one.
This doesnt look like the Ford class hull at all...

Thank you for doing this. It's really cool. I switched out the Nimitz CVN with the Ford CVN in Renhai Hunt mission. Worked really well. I did notice the lights on the meatball do float a little way away from it. If you do an update, maybe add a bulbous bow. great work.
