Do keep in mind, the base game rarely has realistic terrain elevation, they just jump from one level to another and most of the terrain is flat. This is not the case on my map.

I believe on the outskirts of the central city, in the trench line that runs along the forest the LOS is offset from the mouse, thats the only one I can recall right now, I'll try to look at it later and get a picture

Can you give examples of other areas besides the trenches?

I am not sure if there can be a fix for the trench LOS itself, this is because the actual buildings units are in are placed inside the trenches and they are placed a bit lower than normal buildings. To me this makes sense, since in a trench your field of view will be smaller than in a regular building, but sadly I couldn't fix this due to how the game works with how I made the trenches.

Making them easier to select could be possible yes, but it would also make it harder to place them close to eachother. I'll look into making the selection box a bit taller so that you don't have to click inside of it.

In some areas, especially the trenches, the LOS is off and isn't on the mouse itself. This also causes issues with LGBs from what I can see so if you can find a fix for that, it would be appreciated, bar that, its a nice map, but perhaps make the trenches easier to select

aWiF dev is not updating until the summer, so he said about using the version rollback to play the mod in the meantime. I was just hoping that changing something would make it work, will try and if not just wait for the update. Thanks!

Hi, I am not sure what that means, sorry, can you elaborate on what you mean with "compatch"? Is this an older version or a newer version? If it is an older version I cannot guarantee it would even work, maybe assets that are newly created and so on....
Looking in the config for the mod there is a field called ModGenVersion, reading the value is as follows:
ModGenVersion = 150731 ; ModGen revision, do not modify
So that is probably something it's using?
Either way i am not sure if changing this might just break everything. Can't you ask the developer for that mod to update to the latest version? What is holding them back?

Firstly, great map. Been having a lot of fun playing it. The 4v4 really ends up being a real difficult map to advance on which is a lot of fun dealing with.

There are some issues with pathing though, not sure if you're aware. Firstly vehicles tend to avoid the highways like the plague for some reason. Secondly on the 4v4 map, vehicles spawning at the South-West (according to the mod photo) side are all bugged in their pathing as they will go through the cap zone, get to a cross roads and all go south to the edge of the map before heading to their planned destination. It makes that south spawn point unusable without extra micro.
And finally theres been times on all maps that when telling a unit to go somewhere, it will go backwards 2000m before heading to the destination.

It's an extremely well detailed map though, lot a fun to play on and plays quite differently to the default maps due to it being based on the real world. Hope those bugs can be fixed!

The larger districts are designed this way because every district in the game is an entity, since the map already has a lot of buildings, this was taken into consideration when designing the map. It would be easy to split up, but it would for example double the amount of entities thus increasing lag.

В текущем виде у вас есть один условный "дом", который фактически состоит из ~8 зданий. Это создает неудобства во время боя, поскольку вести сражение за такую громоздкую постройку некомфортно. Было бы лучше, если бы вместо одной большой конструкции были 2, 3 или 4 небольших здания. Это упростило бы выстраивание обороны и перемещение юнитов под огнем противника. Я играл на этой карте в формате 3 на 3 дважды, и мои друзья полностью согласны с моим мнением.
Но это лишь мои придирки:steamfacepalm:

Я понимаю, что уменьшить объекты игры невозможно. Однако, если взять туже карту Crown или Cyrus (как пример!) можно заметить интересные дома, которые, на мой взгляд, отлично вписались бы в общую атмосферу карты. Они ничем не хуже тех "советских" построек, которые были выбраны вами.

I did experiment with this idea, I might make a second version of the map that has tunnels
I simply made a very long district with a building on both ends, the units can teleport in between them!
