I did have one more question, does this tune PLA aircraft to get rid of that ace combat nonsense, the instantaneous turn rate on PLA jets would make the operation plumbbob manhole cover blush in terms of G force. No jet should be able make a 180 turn in 3 seconds at 1800 kmh.

And regarding RHS, I found no docs on how their armor balancing works, and I don't think I want to be decyphering it from the configs, not in the near future anyway

@KetchupZombie the PLA armored vehicles pack is actually made to work with RHS (except for that csk-182) so you should be fine

This mod i soo needed i love pla vehicles but they are just too overpowered that it aint fun but with this i can use them again

to be clear, this basically fixes the overpowered nonsense that is PLA Armored Vehicles Pack? As in it makes them more balanced for fair play and fun? :bigjohn:

i think the best option is to make the zbd-04a tad bit tankier again, considering especially that the zbd-04a compared to other ifvs similar to it is abit stronger

Vanilla IFVs are quite monstrous from the front in general. Here I run into the limitation of not being able to change firegeometry, but I'll play around and see what I can do

playtested some more, zbd-04a still dies really quickly. the marshall destroys the zbd-04a before the zbd-04a can do anything

@Rooivalk Took a look, ZBD04A and ZBD05 both exploded from just one RPG-7 shot, health values' are upped in the update

@HazmatGamer there were some issues I had trying to do it like that, namely the fact that I needed to remove some hitzones altogether

If this just editing​ config. You could just put the name of PLA mod cfgpatch into the "requiredaddons" section of your cfgpatch. It's​ basically​ telling​ the game that each line written​ in your config will replace the original. No need to include the rest of the mod.

did some quick playtesting with the mod, some vehicles (especially the zbd-04a) are quite weak and die pretty quickly, often not able to disable the enemy tanks before death, even when they have the advantage.

If this just alters the config files, it doesn't need the meshes or textures, this just has to be loaded under the PLA mod

@Axle Because mod pbos also have the models with them, and there's no good way to separate them to my knowledge. So it is pretty much just the whole mod.

You can actually run this standalone, the original mod requirement is more to comply with Workshop EULA than anything else

This is such a shame that the CSK can't be fixed. It was the one I was most hoping for:(
