I tested it and it indeed needs vj base for it, you can find the Base in the custom npcs, thingy above :steamthumbsup: :steamhappy:

this one is my favorite. they remind me of the shield Police from payday. the whole shield thing is cool and the fact you can break the glass on the shield is amazing. also i did some Discovery that they shields are very effective Against Vortigaunts becuase the shields block the lighting. that cool

@Inferno I am pretty sure I have code in the npc that forces their weapon to be one of the three unless a different weapon is selected from the npc weapon override menu. I assume it is using a different method to set the weapon or the code used to set the weapon is run before my code that forces it, therefore overriding the selection.

Curious, they don't seem to follow Zippy's Global spawner presets, most specifically the instance of spawning them in with custom weapons or just in-general their other equipment, its always the stunstick. the SMG, pistol, or any other weapons don't appear at all.

I have an issue where after I eliminate the combine riot control guy, theres a ragdoll and an invincible immovable model of the guy remaining

@bunnyzerg I have a concept in the works right now that is very much a combination of these two ideas. I am trying to make him balanced as he is either really powerful outdoors, or utterly useless indoors. I am open to ideas one what abilities he should have an where. Still in the early phases of that npc so much can change.

here are 2 suggestions 1 overwatch, 1 metropolice, the combine artillery master (feel free to change the names for either of these), a heave slow combine troop who calls in heavy explosive ordinance from off the map, as well as setting up mines, he should look like a mix between an ordinal and a suppressor, with the more alien body type of the suppressor, but the radio equipment of the ordinal. the metro officer is the commander of the civil protection in that region, having a city scanner that he can deploy, and a much more hide and let the others take the hits tactics, he is difficult to defeat when surrounded by other civil protection units, however alone he is quite helpless.

@Marvl101 Yes they are in progress and a couple are pretty much done. There are some cool models that I want to use for some of them but I am looking to get permission from their creators first.
