I will test the capabilities against incoming missiles, because if it can hit those it's good enough

if can ignore 6 chaff and track the 7th target as real target, to use that feature you need to set the parameter I don't remember what its name maybe 'radar fin active distance' to 1.

I am curious about these missiles if they have irccm to avoid 1 chaff? Cuz after all If I make a ship it would be good to have both these missiles and my deprecated ones.

Max lead limit the max lead ......to keep the target in missile radar's fov.
IFF won't work good when moving fast cause it only refresh 3 time per second.
About go up then down , I don't remember every detail. It seems like the missile abort the attack itself. I do have wrote some code about it for safety.

Also I can confirm it for some reason automatically fires at me even with datalink on, i was going about 500kph

Question if a missile loses track and goes very far away like 7km is it normal to go up in the sky then go down (if i removed selfdestruct mode) [And Max Lead if i increase it what does it do cuz i am curious if i can increase maneuvrability by changing this value]

Also the system works better the missile actually can guide itself using the tws until the pitbull mode

Actually the HQ11E is kind of a demo build of TWS+ARHM, which I brushed it up in FFG171 'Changjiang' my latest workshop item.
I don't remember every difference of two builds but I suggest you use newer one to customize.

This system, is kind works like launching ARHM like AIM-120s with 'TWS' mode radar (when manual) or 'TWS HDN' mode radar (when auto-engaging).

Yes, and I think I do have wrote in description and also wrote in replies for several times, the system is designed to do so.
And also I have explained the missiles are designed to PVE so they are weak and can't track fast-moving vehicles at all.
Currently I have no plan to make missiles more powerful.

So if I select manually the target and that target gets let's say 2km away from the direction when I shot the missiles, the missiles should follow it to it's actual location?

and it never fire it at the location of first detection. it fires at the last location the system send to missile.
if you shoot missile manually, you select target by fire channel, it won't abort guiding. so it you want to fire at any target, you should select and fire manually.

to delay the abort, you need to edit the code in the 'leveling down' part. I can't tell you where actually it is because the code is compressed.

TWS system will abort the guidance. missile can't get further information so it will search near last position.

auto engage is for high thread targets, one an object leave the straight line will treat as NO DANGER one. it's the principle. it is why this system don't attack static objects or other not approaching objs.

Here is my question again: I launch a missile at a moving target going about 500kph in a straight line at 5km. The missile reaches the destination but that destination is the target location when i fired the missile not the updated location where the target is at the moment. Is there any way to make the missiles actually follow the target using the radio transmit of the vehicle rather than just going towards a constant coordinate when fired?

I see, but in fact 200~300 meters circle is not BIG, actually it's very small....
And anyway, you can increase the 'merge dist' in TWS micro-con, and 'radar search range' in Missile's micro-con, to get a larger search range.

Well when I put my plane into autopilot mode it flies in a rather big circle at least 200-300m in diameter and the missile does not seem to try to follow the target flying in circles but it just flies straight (then when close it gets the lock and enters interception mode), maybe if the target flies straight that would work haven't tested

So i checked the missile microcontroller and I found the TGTD and ETA on channel 21 and 23, but I have a few questions: TGTDD (channel 22) what is this, also ETA outputs in seconds? And TGTD outputs in meters to target right? Thanks!

Cuz I got the 2 micros but I don't want my missile to use normal radar but to activate when the distance to target is 1-2km

As I mentioned in 'Known Issues',
The system may not work well at heavy network traffic.
Including 'missiles seems stuck in launchers and don't fly'.
Have you tried it in single-player mode?

Have you try the original area defense system yet?
You may figure out original missiles receive updated coordinates after launch.
For your own missiles, please notice there are 2 MCs should be on missile, a clock, an antenna, also the correct composite signal, and my data-link to make all things works.
