I'd agree, but you have to consider he can steer you into Witches, fire, ledges and other stuff. Combined with mods that make the game harder, your items can drop for hanging off a ledge, or you can get instakilled by a Witch.

1 seems a little too low, how about 2 instead, it's half the normal damage

Low "jump" range, about 30 to 40.
1 ride damage instead of 4 (infected damage multiplier)

Jockey is now fixed, no longer annoying.

So nice to see that im not the only one who hates the jockey, such a poorly balanced little shit.
But you can always use Left 4 Fun to nurff it.
