The map issue might not be fixed soon—one of our mappers is busy with exams.
For the freezing problem caused by prolonged joining time, I tried a fix but can't guarantee it'll work.
The acceleration item is actually the nest's innate push force. We'll consider adding icon props to hint players. UI improvements (icons) and disabling rainfall will take time—I need to study that part of the code.
- Exiting a hot potato lobby hardlocks the game, even if no sets were actually played, and even if you're alone. Trying to alt f4 the game also then crashes the game, and the crash handler gets stuck, meaning it's a force close either way.
- Seemingly this isn't a problem for everyone, but at least for me the very first round in a set takes an extremely long time to load, to the point where it can confuse my gamestate. We're talking 15-30s load times on a middling performance PC (bottleneck 2400g). Additional rounds without returning to match setup load normally and quickly.

suggestions:
Make spears stun instead of doing nothing
have the image above usernames change when you have the hot potato
let rain be turned off (longer maps like 5 potatoes or games with lots of people will encounter rain before game ends)
more obvious indicators for the boost things (right now they are black squares)
have dead people automatically spectate the current potato
more map variety, current ones are peak but there are not a ton so it can get repetitive
Bugs :
in the map Bad Potato, the screen loops in both directions and looping from the top puts you in the floor.
in bad potato the locusts do not work properly (unsure if that's intentional or because watcher was off)
the water in the map Verdant_Potatoways does not sync and can be unfair at times.
A_potato_02 is a multi map and has a screen of nothing but walls.
the watcher inspired maps don't need watcher enabled
some people hard locked on joining (according to one of lead meadow devs the mod is likely missing a isArenaMode check on player receive so some people fail trying to load in. no clue what that means but you might)
one person hard locked on leaving, could be meadows fault tho.
