@ONeillO - Hey mate! I'll be honest, I'm already being generous enough with the vac resistance buff. Why? Because Helldivers drown in Helldivers 2. Void of space is equivalent to having zero oxygen underwater, but these guys drown in B-02 armor.

The Vacsuit is designed for space exploration, not combat. The Helldiver armors are designed for combat, and let's pretend they just finally sorted out the oxygen recycling problem for a moment, the worst conditions Helldivers face are blizzards in cold wasteland planets, not space where temperatures could reach -200 degree celcius.

I didn't want the Vacsuits to lose their usefulness for what is ultimately not a set of powered armor. Light armor gives the least cold resistance, medium is okay and heavy gives the most cold protection.

I'm happy with the current settings, I understand not everyone will be happy with this, but I feel for once we have to be reasonable here. B-02 and the armor variants here aren't designed for zero oxygen environment, at the end of the day you get some kind of BDU or padded fatigues under some spacer armour.

Small question, are there plans to give cold protection equivalent to vacsuits to the helldiver armours? feels a bit odd having the vac resistance but still freezing in minutes, Great work as always though!

You still a sapper? I reckon if its doable maybe give special armors to officers of the faction etc cant relate how happy i am to see you so updating so quickly to the new build <3

Hey guys, unfortunately the updates aren't coming today for new armors and weapons arriving. Something's come up with work, but I will do my best to squeeze in updates in my free time.

I have begun working on the SEAF faction, give me your thoughts on:
- Whether Helldiver NPCs in the faction should just stay in B-01 armor or have a variety
- What would you like to see in the faction mod that won't need insane coding?
- Are you guys having issues with weapon volumes being too low in 1.6 for Helldivers firearms?

Update is pushed, capes are fixed, vac protection in space is available for all armors except all SEAF medium armors

Nobody reported the capes rendering over pawns?! Guys come on! (Totally should've checked that myself)

Fix is coming in ASAP with the vac protection.

For now the only armors not EVA rated for space are:
- SEAF armor set
- SEAF trooper set

I felt this is reasonable considering theyre meant for ground forces in planetary defence. Heavy trooper is just adapted Helldiver armor so it'll work in space.

Will push soon as capes are fixed, wish someone told me

Spoke too soon guys, I am running on Bingo fuel for work tomorrow. Spent the day updating a few headaches, like VOID faction and the furniture mod. Will push out the three new armours tomorrow.

Vac protection stats will come out in the next several minutes, but that's about it.

Also found out we had unreleased new weapons for the firearms mod, like the Deadeye, STA, Dominator and Flamethrower strategem.

I will get it all pushed out with the DOOM mod update tomorrow. Cheers all.

Hey all, EVA protection, the cowboy warbond and Helghast armor will come today, just give me a dang moment, mans a bit overwhelmed.

Will try to gun for new descriptions too, just to let you know this will affect CE compatibility.

Additionally I'll consider adding vacuum protection and EVA capabilities for the armours in the mod, just that I tried it with Rangers faction and it did something funky with pawn generation so I will hold off for now. Cheers.

Hey all, 1.6 is here. Currently holding off on pushing new armours and fixing descriptions on account of the Super Hellbomb 1.6 update that dropped, right during a busy season in my career. Thanks for the patience, sometimes hobbies have to take a backseat unfortunately.

Pardon me for the delay in updates guys, gonna be a busy 2 months.

We have a pending update for AC-1, the cowboy warbond armor and a few other fixes for your armour descriptions. Faction is planned and is still going to happen, just need a breather because responsibilities irl are knocking on the door and I like to keep my sanity by not stressing about this huge mod at the moment.

Also? Super Earth was attacked, we all had to sort that out, obviously.

CE Compatibility questions - I'm not out to intentionally not make the mod work for CE guys, it's just a lot of work trying to figure out how to patch for CE. I'm busy with irl, and I'm busy with my own mods and figuring out how to make them work with vanilla, what more making them work with someone else's set of rules and mod that revamp vanilla mechanics?

Consult the CE team in their discord, the guys who make patches for CE are very good at their job, they're the ones you talk to for requests.

It's so much effort to make a normal baseline human faction, what more a brand new race. Maybe in the far future but I don't see it mate, sadly, not from me because I'm so busy

@Necro01 - Hey mate. I've made a few exceptions to custom armor in the game, and that's for the highly popular chaos diver and specialist SEAF series. I'm not going to add a B-01 in SEAF colors because we already have the ambassador of the brand and the regular SEAF uniform is already a B-01 with minor modifications.

@Alpharius - Hey. I appreciate the concern but I'm not removing the chaos divers outfit. I've been teamkilled just like everyone else by people claiming to be in their little group during the whole fiasco 1-2 years ago.

It's meant to be part of the faction mod later as a bunch of rogue Helldivers. There is no drama, nobody else I see crying offense at a uniform. It's a major part of the lore and a lot of players who are part of that crowd disavow the teamkillers, and I'm satisfied with this.

I just don't see it affecting your singleplayer experience and why there has to be this outrage in a day and age where more important things are going on, no offense.

that was my first mistake
they're just a bunch of fucking losers who don't deserve the continued representation
