It won't cause a crash. The script is triggered when you or any player shoves something. If the script can't retrieve the model of what you shoved (such as a wall or floor) it ends early and prints a message.

mod is good on gameplay, bad thing is that in console theres a nonstop error message about this mod, that could lead to a crash

I remember the first time I played L4D2, I thought I could refuel the chainsaws with gascans in some way. I mean, it should be a vanilla thing in the game, right?

chainsaws have 30 seconds worth of fuel. If you configured it to only refuel 20%, then you're getting 6 seconds of fuel per can. its basically pointless.

gascans are plentiful in alot of maps so is there a chance for a config where you can configure how much gas you get in the chainsaw? like it fills up 20%

@kurochama didn't work. I don't see why it would be triggering like that anyway though? It should only give you a new chainsaw if activeweapon is already chainsaw, but its like its just ignoring that and doing it anyway

@Geebanger , after checking the scripts, I found something that can be the clue. "GetActiveWeapon()" is used to point to an entity, but not to point the classname of the entity. Probably you need to change the "if" to:
if(playerweapon.GetClassname() == "weapon_chainsaw")

thats a good point regardless. If you find red cans during a scavenge segment, make sure you dont shove them while holding a chainsaw unless youre fine with not having them available to fuel up whatever the finale is
