I think the best example is the loadouts image on the main page here, if you dont click it to zoom in you can get an idea of how itd generally be like to see it in game

If we'd add colors that differ too much then it'd look like two different cosmetics, pants and shirt, instead of one suit that's under the belt. And the colors are so bright only in the promotional thumbnail.

Too much of the same color, lower half needs to be dark like his normal pants and making the pants coated in a heavier layer of oil for that dark color would look nice

yeah its not paintable, and the red is the same colour as engineers default shirt (admittedly brightened in thumbnail a bit) but maybe seems brighter than normal since he usually has the brown overalls

I feel like the red version is too bright. As long as the whole thing isn't paintable, I don't see much of a problem with this cosmetic. And maybe the pockets are too large too. Not bad. :steamthumbsup:

That's a really nice lookin' cosmetic. i can see some pretty neat loadout combos using this with certain cosmetics.

thanks, I had considered a stronger gradient but it seemed that whatever I did then just made it look like he's wearing pants and not part of the same suit

i think that’s exactly the case
such an odd contrast could be avoided by a slightly more intense gradient?
either way, i reckon this is cool :)
