Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
My mod is compatible with LoV. However, I haven't added Valyrian blood traits to the characters because, in theory, all their descendants died during the Bookmark of Jaehaerys I (the end, I think). I didn't have the courage or time to create a submod for LoV characters. That's why I gave players the ability to quickly add Valyrian blood traits. I'll probably patch it in when the "Dream of Valyria" update comes out so I can have everything at once.

Regarding the second question, there's no need to change their Valyrian blood percentage; culture is how they perceive themselves and are perceived, not their genes.

I hope I've answered your questions.

Hello,
Thank you for your comment.
Which mod did you use to access Aegon's Conquest? If it was with the "AGOT Expansion: Aegon's Conquest" mod, I recommend deleting the character folder in the history folder (do the same for the AGOT Expansion: Aegon's Conquest FIX mod).

Do you have any mods that modify High Valyrians born before Aerys II? (Legacy of Valyria doesn't count.)

To add a trait to a character, you have two options:
-If you have enabled debug mode, or the game rule allows it, by clicking on Aegon and scrolling down, you have an interaction to add Valyrian blood traits.

-With debug mode, open the command, type "add_trait vi_100 *character id*." You can find a character's ID by hovering over it.

I'll look at the game files when I have time.

Trying to play as Aegon the Conqueror and don't have the trait when spawned, but Orys does (he has 32/32). I tried to rearrange the mod orders, as well as made sure this is enabled in the game rules. I would try and debug it in console but don't know what input to use. Would appreciate any help! :)

Interested in testing this mod out, but it seems LoV doesn't work correctly with it. Starting as Aurion Varezys he doesn't start with any blood trait. Also I'm not sure if it's meant to work this way, but if you change house Celtigar for example to Westerosi Valyrian rather than the starting High Valyrian it doesn't change their respective blood trait.
JimmyG1970 26 Jun @ 10:14pm
Dummy me read a lower comment and figured out the 24 question. Duh!:steamhappy:
JimmyG1970 26 Jun @ 10:12pm
Wait Valyrians who inbred receive a penalty? That to me is messed up because it seems to come down heavy on science and less on magic and fantasy. Your mod does admirable job of trying to bring that gap with common sense.

Sorry to ask maybe obvious questions but if a pure V blood targaryen marries another pure V blood, do they get penalties? If they marry were to marry a person with more V blood than themselves? Say a half V blood marries a full V blood...is this result 24? I understand the why behind what you are doing and it's commendable. For me, it's akin to using real science to explain the Force in Star Wars (midichlorians). While it worked in some instances, it's now up in the air because apparently Sabine Wren can connect to the Force. That's explained away by two things, low midichlorian count and that everyone, no matter how many M's they have can connect to the Force with ummm...practice I guess.
JimmyG1970 26 Jun @ 10:12pm
Read the above comment first then this.

What this means for me I guess, is that it has to do with Valyrian Blood Magic and the nature of the Dragons themselves. Sheepstealer is tamed by Nettles with what Grand Maester Martin strongly infered was simple behavior modification. Feed me, I begin to like to you and become a dog. Or in the words of Sigmund Freud about penis envy and cigars, "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar".
James 17 Jun @ 6:33am
I'm going to be an annoying nerd lol. In ASOAIF, it has only been the Volantene who are mentioned to STILL be of pure Valyrian blood. To be specific, they are governed by various pure blood Valyrian families that can trace their roots back to old Valyria (soldiers and low noblemen ala TWOIAF). The Targaryens stopped being pure blooded the moment they intermarried with the Velaryons, which is noted to have been done various times PRIOR to the conquest as is evidenced by Aegon I's mother (a velaryon) who in turn has a Targaryen parent herself. However, pure valyrian blood means stuff all in relation to taming a dragon as the Volatnese are not descended from Valyrian "dragonblood".
TLDR: The only pure blood Valyrian's are a specific sect of the Volantene. The Targaryens whilst not being pure blooded are still dragon blooded. Being a pure blooded Valyrian doesn't allow you to tame dragons, only dragon blood can.
ReoHays 10 Jun @ 9:51pm
I just got out of the game and she was cheating. Also I moved the load order and now I see the Quarter-Man stat now and they have the blood at game start now. They didn't before. Thanks for the fast response. I just started over. It took many starts to get a decent Counsel and have a decent wife with my stats ok. But he was stuck on 7 military and 20 prowess every start, so I guess that is hard coded for him.
baptoun  [author] 10 Jun @ 6:26pm
@ReoHays
Hi, I didn't quite understand your message. If Parent A has the 16/32 trait and the other has 32/32, the child will have 24/32.
If your queen has no traits, and you have the 16/32 trait, and your child has the 4/32 trait, she's probably cheating on you with someone who has the 8/32 trait.
I don't know if I answered your question, sorry.
ReoHays 10 Jun @ 5:53pm
Question. Once you hit 16/32 your kids can never be 24/32? Say 100% and 16/32 have a child, why is the child 4/32? You skipped 8/32. Using the queen who never was "parents" She is pure and any one born after is 4/32? at least in my play through.

@Ereska
I don't have the time, maybe later
baptoun  [author] 8 Jun @ 7:43pm
@bropossible
Between research, testing, also at one point I added traits (there were originally "only" 16 Valyrian blood traits) so I had to modify a large part of what I had already done. I would say 2-3 weeks (about 15-20% of the total time)
baptoun  [author] 8 Jun @ 7:40pm
@Brian
It is normally compatible with LoV
atronshen 8 Jun @ 9:33am
Dany was never sane she was always evil and insane but people let it go because she took out her insanity on people who are evil untill she bbq'd 1-2 million people.
Ereska 7 Jun @ 11:46am
Could you turn the delete dragons rule into a seperate mod? I'd be interested in that but not in the rest.
bropossible 6 Jun @ 4:22pm
How long did it take you to add all those traits to the history files?
Brian 4 Jun @ 2:57pm
compatch for legacy of valyria?

This mod is broken for me. When I click on viserys my game crashes. Can someone please fix that issue.
baptoun  [author] 30 May @ 7:31pm
@spencer2brown
Thank you so much for your comment!!

It's not currently planned at all.
The first reason is that Volantis, outside of the LoV mod, isn't in the game.
I don't think so for Lys. I'm not even sure Lys is "finished" in the game. Second, it would require a lot of work to add more files to manage.
Currently, my mod supports about 10 history files (1 file = 1 list of characters based on their region, e.g., the inhabitants of the Reach are in the same file), and as soon as CK3 GOT gets a few updates, I have to check each file and update it. And I don't want to add another file.

For now, I want to invest in other projects for my mod, like adding flavor to other things. I'm currently working on a "non-canon" project (which will be deactivated in the game rules). Or later add elements related to Valyrian culture itself.

Sorry about that :((
And thanks again for your comment!!
spencer2brown 28 May @ 8:04pm
Have you thought about adding Valyrian blood traits to the Lyseni, Hartarlari, Tyroshi, and Volentene cultures? Maybe 18/32 and 12/32 depending on whether a character is noble or smallfolk for the Lyseni. 8/32 for all the Hartarlari and Tyroshi, and divide the Volentenes by class like the Lyseni. Maybe 16/32 for the Old Blood nobles to match the Essosi Valyrians, and 8/32 for minor Volentene nobles. I really enjoy your work and it brings a lot of flavor to the game. Thank you!
hedop 27 May @ 10:59am
Ahh okay thank you for clarifying. Well there was a small hotfix today or yesterday I think and AGOT just had one out today as well. So that's why I was asking thank you for the clarification @baptoun
Ilijas 27 May @ 6:37am
@hedop Is it intended for Celtigars, Scales and all others to be High Valyrian?
baptoun  [author] 27 May @ 4:30am
@hedop
I don't know what fix you're talking about, but in any case my mod still works haha :))
Generally, my mod remains compatible even after CK3 updates.
The only thing that could make it incompatible is if CK3 AGOT significantly modifies the game's story files (which manage historical characters), which is why I try to update it regularly :))
hedop 27 May @ 4:09am
Does it still work or does it need an update aftter the last hotfix?
baptoun  [author] 26 May @ 10:32am
@Ilijas
I think too
Ilijas 26 May @ 10:22am
i think your mod makes Celtigars High Valyrian

Late reply but by "keep up" I meant being able to easily go thru houses and realm and find dragonseeds/bastards/secret kids of Targaryens

Thank you for your comment.
I'm currently in the middle of term time and have exams until mid-June. I'll try to fix the problem this weekend, but after this weekend, I won't have access to my computer until the end of the exams.
Have a nice day.

Hello, thank you for your comment. Can you give me an example so I can see it more easily in the game file?
Note that dead children generally don't have the trait that appears in bookmarks after their deaths.
