@Riven not necessarily, as it wasn't designed as an artillery piece. the German 88 was a heavy anti-aircraft battery, it just so happened that it was also really good at killing tanks. Technically speaking, ANY large caliber gun like that "could" be used as artillery, but it really isn't designed to be used that way and you would be largely wasting ammunition at that point.

Tl;dr: technically yes, but in practice no.

@coldertermite This is a question that many people have asked me. Because after the range was increased, the corresponding modification data of the shell was not modified, and it couldn't work properly in the interaim shooting mode. The solution is to cancel the high range or wait for the compatibility patch. Thank you for your feedback!

Hello. Thanks for the mod. I wonder an issue that if is it possible to shoot further HE shells beyond its range? I'm using long range mod and it can provide to shoot further ranges even it is HE shells. There is a mod (Gates of Steel) that it can provide to shoot long ranges artillery and SPA tanks. But in this mod, it shows it can be shoot further with HE but it explodes its real ranges (160 or 180m). I want to use StuH42 to further ranges and eliminate enemies.

@wenqweasd 这个问题的原因是车载类自行火炮限制了水平转动的角度,导致在横侧斜面时无法调整到目标位置,这个问题可以修复,除非让火炮穿模炮盾……我建议尽量减少在此类斜面上射击,或者使用原版射击模式(直射模式),移动到平地再使用间瞄射击模式

火炮在斜面上一般不会歪,像是运载火炮和自行火炮在斜面上火炮抬升后没有左右角度就会歪了

为啥我的德军榴弹炮开了自由射击按钮也不自由射击啊,甚至对地攻击和点人攻击都不行,只能手动直接瞄准,美军没有这个问题,迫击炮也没这个问题

这正常吗?只要是能间瞄射击的我就没见过直射了,哪怕我手操也是一样,这就导致有时候敌人就在脸上了依然是高射打远处的敌人,火炮到时没什么,一些小炮步兵炮之类的还有三突就非常难受

@[NOVA]蓝天A @PrinZ_Eugen 这个动画问题我确实没有注意到,因为直瞄射击是给火炮加了一个同轴机枪的”炮位“实现的双射击模式切换,就跟贴吧里制作组无法解决枪榴弹和枪械切换射击的问题差不多。这个后面我看时间和个人能力修复一下,因为对游戏性确实影响不是很大。

@PrinZ_Eugen 经过我的测试,Zis3间瞄射击有之前修复的bug遗漏的现象,但射程没有问题就是原版的190,我针对本mod涉及火炮的更改都是在原版的基础上进行划分修改的,并没有存在增加间瞄射击射程的情况,只针对直瞄射击设定为100mm口径以上180,一下保持原版

Can you switch Tank Destroyers like SU-72 etc. main attack with coaxial and vice verse because TD's are less effective due to using howitzer mode all the time.
