Cool 'hold to use' feature. would be more convenient for folks who don't have the same level of experience with the bind command, the "exec" script system and the "toggle" command that came later on, all of which I got used to.
It's extremely useful to make macros and shortcuts to commands that you frequently use. It also was a clue that the Source engine is loosely based on the Quake engine.
Later versions of GZDoom also has i_timescale. HL1/Goldsrc also has a similar speed command... but you need to enter it differently.
in HL1, you'll need to change host_framerate FAR below 1, like 0.005 (or 0.003), etc. otherwise it goes way too fast, even if you wanna speed something up. change it back to 0 when you want it to run normally. Definitely a cool feature not so well known.
I just tested it... host_framerate is also in Quake and operates the exact same way!

Default is left alt. You can also keep the spawnmenu open if you type "gm_showhelp" in console.

Press F1 it will keep the spawnmenu open!
Head to Spawnmenu -> Options -> WeTools -> Zoneout Options
There should be a button for binding
