Unfortunately I get the same issue as with any other faction unlocker as soon as I play as a faction that's not playable in the base game (Knossos, in this instance):
- In the menu, the game consistently defaults to an Egyptian UI and shows an Akkadian native roster (no faction units) with local deities being Marduk, Inshushinak and Ninurta.
- Once InGame, I can make temples of every deity in Knossos itself (in fact there are so many choices the UI tab doesn't fit in my screen) Outposts seem to have deities from any religion unlocked from the get-go if I select Religious, similarly to major settlement buildings. Minor settlements only allow for Mesopotamian deities however.
Is it the game engine making it impossible to play NPC factions like a proper player one? Or is this issue unheard of and it could just be on my end? :( Thanks in advance!
