Mein ziel ist es eigentlich gar nicht Historisch Akkurat zu sein. Du hast es ja selber erwähnt, sowas kahm sehr selten vor, dass wenn ich versucht hätte diesen mod Historisch Akkurat zu machen, das die Schiffe dann zu 90% der zeit, im Hafen verbringen würden, was einfach langweilig wäre.

Gameplay technisch, ändert sich da eigentlich wenig. Man kann es sich so wie die U-Boote vorstellen, die man ja auch im Vanilla game treffen kann. Genau wie die U-Boote, können die Schiffe Funksprüche absetzen und dich über einen Geleitzug weise machen. Ob der Gleitzug aber dann noch da ist, das mag ich zu bezweifeln. Die Schiffe können ja schießen.

Aber ich kann es mir doch schon gut vor stellen, das wenn man sie trifft das man sie meistens nicht mitten in einer schlacht trifft und man deshalb man nur kurz "cool" sagt und dann einfach weiter zieht.

Wenn sie aber in einer Schlacht sind, dann würde ich persönlich es als ein Spektakel finden

So ganz verstehe ich die Beschreibung nicht, was dieses Mod spieltechnisch zum Inhalt hat. Welcher Rolle spielt es für mich in einem Uboot, ob irgendwo deutsche oder italienische Schlachtschiffe auftauchen?
Historisch ist es, glaube ich, 3x passiert, dass ein größeres Schiff einen Konvoi angriff. Ja, und die verhängnisvolle Zerstreuung von PQ-17 wegen Tirpitz, die aber gar nicht unterwegs war.

Das Flaggen Problem ist gelöst? Ship Bundle hatte teilweise Flaggen nicht mehr angezeigt.

UBE is basically a mega mod, that ads a ton off new content, like new ports, a full grid system that doesn't stop at around south Africa but instead goes around the entire world. Similar to my mod, it uses ads new ships and ads real convoy data to the game and just does a lot more then what my mod does... Not really sure if it works tho or if it's busted currently. I know that there is a beta for the latest UBOAT version but I can't find the link currently.

But basically imagine GWX, but for UBOAT and then you get UBE

Me personally, I wouldn't try it out as there is a high chance, that the two mods will conflict with each other and cause issues

alright ill see if i can record it and send it to you via discord. seems like it happens randomly some convoys work others dont, i am also having a small issue with ships blocking me in at whilhelmshaven but i saw you were already tooking at that. <3

Intresting. If any off you could send logs, screenshots or anything related to the spinning bug in the UBOAT Discord, that would be extremely helpfull, in solving this issue, that bassically ruins the entire expiernce for this mod!

If you are wondering where exactly you can report this issue, I would reccomend you go to the modding-forum that you can find in the Discord and send it to the "Warship Horizon chatroom"

I just downloaded the mod, it seems like the issue with the spinning ships is still a thing. just got a convoy of 40 ships all stuck in place and spinning

It's because the flags are causing issues, to the game and when trying to implement them, the flags tend to act... unnatural.

Also a very important reminder, that the moddels/assets, sounds from said assets etc are all not from me, but are from Link and his ship bundle and shared Bundles for Entitis mod! All I did was modify the Data Sheets, so that you can even have an encounter with for example a German Task Force, with a Bismarck Class Battleship! While I will be able to answer most off the questions, I would recommend, asking Link directly since he is the back bone as to why my mod even works in the first place and also because he is just much better and just has a greater understanding off modding UBOAT then I'll ever have!

On another topic tho, I havn't gotten any reports anymore about the spinning ships problem? Did it stop happening for some reason, or is there something else going on?

After starting a new game with this mod ships have been more than less spinning in place. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue but I'll have to do some testing.

Did you activate the mods during a career? Because this mod requires you to start a new career for it to work!

Yes I have tested the community patch and as far as I know, it does not cause any trouble. Should you notice an issue tho, PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT IT and I will see what I can do to fix it. Should I not be able to fix it, I will tell Link about it and trust me he will get it fixed. The same also goes for the Enhanced Identification Book! Also on a side note, the Enhanced Identification Book can be a bit confusing at times, as even I got lost in it one time, trying to find the Admiral Class (HMS Hood), only to realize, that Battlecrusiers are in the Cruiser section off the ID Book and not in the Battleship section!

So, I haven't used this mod yet because I have a question. This mod requires the Community Patch mod, which was last updated in 2024. Is that patch mod tested with the most updated version of the game? I presume it has to be, as this mod depends on it, but can I get confirmation it all works well before I install this? This mod bassically takes a look at the Ship Bundle mod (By Link) and expands the Data sheet's a bit, so that the game is able to spawn a Bismarck without you needing to spawn it via commands, allowing you to randomly encounter her in the North sea for example. And just to clarify I did not ad these ship models, they are all from Link's ship bundle but are unused and I changed that, by like I already said, by expanding the Data Sheets and telling the game "yo there is this cool Bismarck model from this awsome ship bundle mod, USE IT!!!" But as my mod page sugest, not only did I work on the German Navy, I also worked on the Regia Marina (Italian Navy), The French Navy and the US Navy and expanded all of them.

No, this is something the Ship Bundle mod does by default, as the Vanilla game already has the Data Sheets to Spawn Tankers and so from time to time the game decides to spawn a ship from the Ship Bundle mod. The reason you don't see German capital ships by default is because there is not a single Data Sheet, that tells the game to spawn a German Capital Ship. And this is where my own mod comes into play as my mod tells the game "Hey, Spawn a Battleship from the German Navy in Wilhelmshaven and make it travel from Wilhelmshaven to sectore AM7".

No problem. Credit also goes to Link, ii, Jim and Salamander! Without these guy's and their mods, wich are requried to make the Warship Horizon mod work, I wouldn't even be here in the first place. I would also like to give credit to Link for teaching and guiding me in the first place in my journey, that was the creation off my mod!

Should I do any changes to the mod, like expanding the US Navy in the Gulf off Mexico for example, it should hopfully not affect your current save, as long as you started the save with the mod already activated. But this will require me to do some testing. I will inform you all, once I am done working on the US Navy and will tell you all, if it works or not!

I think that issue should be fixed tho since Link managed to update the Ship Bundle mod into the current games version, making all ships visible again
