I felt like playing "Furrows" again - just a fantastic map!:steamthumbsup:
This time I also made a video including the clever move by @SunnyOst:

Excellent challenging map :steamhappy:
How to open the fizzler at the right side is genious!!
Added to favors.

Excellent map. I absolutely loved the original Furrows and this added some very nice twists and turns to the original solution. I watched Ganymede's playthrough and it seems I solved it exactly as intended (every move 100% the same). Thumbs up and favorited.

My favorite part was the staircase lowering at the very end. I thought I was done, but you squeezed one more use out of that orange funnel. Very funny.

Thanks for letting me know about another successful completion.

Ingenious remake of an already ingenious map! Very tricky and fun! faved.

Thanks for playing. I'm always glad to hear when someone solves this map.

Really good map. A very nice touch is the fact that you can just about see the cube popping up on the other side when flinging it, preventing to have to do the shot to funell it blind [ /spoiler]

Thanks for playing and good job solving it. :)

Wow! Thank goodness for F6/F7 so I could experiment without starting over. Took me several attemps over a couple of days to solve it. I am in awe of the mind that can create puzzles like this.

That's good news. Having the exact same solution means the map is solid. Yes, it took some effort to get there. Prototype has some videos that show earlier problems. Almisuifre's original puzzle was already a very good basis for making this advanced version and personally I'm more than satisfied with it. I'm glad that this tough puzzle is actually being solved. Thanks for playing. :)

I was surprised to have the exact same solution as Ganymede. I'm almost dazed, still pondering on whether there is a shortcut to the first moves or not (I'm sure there isn't^^). How long did you spend on building the last move. This is insane xD. Congratulations.

Thank you Ganymede, perfect video. For the record, I did care about Brave's brain cells and I had a chat with him after he made the comment. All should be well. :)
Ganymede 28 Jan, 2015 @ 7:18am
I made a playthrough video in case anyone wants to see the solution.

Three attempts going into this map lasting anywhere from half hr. to 45 mins. and each time I can't see the logic behind the map.
How far I get in the map, I convey the cube in the funnel to the wall button to disable the fizzlers then I trigger the polarity conveying again over to the floor button which also deactivates the two upper fizzlers (symbol X) where the 1st light bridge is.
I looked the map over with a fine-tooth comb and I can't figure it out, it's incredibly hard with the lack of white surfaces, but i'm sure its to keep players from alternatives!
Anyways the map is really well designed, and I did liked figuring out the start of the puzzles, but I have to call it quits before my brain cells become tumorous... JK about the tumorous part, but I did go brain dead playing your map... lol

Ah finally got around finishing this. I didn't notice the gap before. Nice twist at the end.

Nice puzzle. Added to favorites.

No more unintended solutions, ...right. Updated to prevent unintended solutions by Prototype. Thanks. :D

I think it's deserving of the "advanced" title. Good work, man. :B1:

It's good to hear that you approve, thank you. :)

Just great... again... as usualy... thanks.

For whatever reason, I managed to get a couple day-long mental blocks while playing this puzzle, and that made it last a bit longer than the intended playtime. Really, there was only one major thing I was blocked on, and looking back, I feel kind of silly for missing it. I didn't notice you could use the funnel to push you over to the exit while the portal was in the fling room . As a result, I spent hours trying to figure out how to realize a scenario that, in fact, was impossible (this being standing at the exit while the cube is against the second button). Don't get me wrong: it was fun trying to solve said impossible scenario. I just wouldn't call it the most productive way to solve the puzzle. :P
Ganymede 7 Dec, 2014 @ 1:12pm
Well, let me say this for the record: this is an extremely well designed chamber. The mere fact that you were able to pack so many steps into such a small space is astounding. I can certainly appreciate the complexity behind this.

As tiring as it was, I thoroughly enjoyed figuring out every step. The more we have to work for each step, the more satisfying it is when we accomplish them.

I'm pretty confident there is no other way than the intended solution due to the changes I made lately, thanks to the input from you, Redsilencer, Requiemsoul and Polux. Although I'm happy with how it looks and plays I have a feeling the puzzle is not being appreciated if exhausting is the first word to come to mind. The staircase going down is of course kind of a joke. I hope not a cruel one, it shouldn't be a problem to make the simple step to overcome this 'problem'. The map started as an exact replica of the original puzzle and slowly drifted into more complex territory. I'm going to change the title to advanced.
Ganymede 6 Dec, 2014 @ 11:53pm
Some of those final maneuvers reminded me a bit of C-Vertex, the way you have to fling the cube separately from yourself. That's actually quite clever. I gonna go out on a limb and guess those aren't the only puzzles you've made where that's a requirement. I'm assuming this is what you meant by "dexterity" in the description.

So, yeah. Small puzzle, but a TON of steps, and every one of them made me think (some more than others). I think I'm going to let my brain rest for a bit before trying your next puzzle.
Ganymede 6 Dec, 2014 @ 11:53pm
That was completely and utterly exhausting. Three days of thinking later and I finally solved it. I'm considering making a demo / video of my solution just to make sure it all matches, but it sure seems intended. No cube-tossing this time.

I must admit, I nearly swore out loud when I saw the staircase go down at the end. You finally get everything done, and then the puzzle just looks back at you and laughs. I'm not sure whether to call this a good thing or not. My brain was almost completely shot by the time I got that far and all I remember is feeling my jaw drop when I saw that.
toncica  [author] 28 Nov, 2014 @ 8:54am
@cyhborg, not quite. Updated, removed small blocks behind the weighed button and set portal in the cube dropper to ground level.

@Polux, I guess you haven't played the original map or else you shouldn't have trouble with it. The solution is intended except one small hop to shoot over a fizzler. Tried to prevent that with this update.
cyhborg 28 Nov, 2014 @ 5:37am
Not sure if intended: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j32jffwnw15u6yo/df2.dem?dl=0 (I messed up the last part, but it's pretty much solvable by then)
