I've released a new update for the mod. It should get rid of all issues when saving values.

If anyone experiences the bug again please let me know, as this has been hard to find already :D

Quick question, if I change the difficulty using this mod then uninstall the mod, do the difficulty changes persist?

upd: This works (for me) a bit strangely on the latest stable game version. The percentages change (quasimorphosis growth, enemy health, etc.) when entering a mission, but the general options do not change (evacuation condition, instant resurrection, etc.)

I haven't been able to reproduce. I am on version 0.9.0 and 0.9.2 seems to work too.

It seems like the difficulty changes correctly.
It auto-saves in memory when you make any change, and it saves to savefile when exiting using "Save And Exit" button.

Sure, I open this menu, change the settings, and there is no auto-save. At the beginning of the mission, the difficulty remains the same as it was before the changes. "Save and Exit" also does not save the settings.

good stuff man!! just had an issue though that MIGHT be related to the mod, i ramped up the number of Items (like on the ground and stuff) to 130% for the first few missions to get my ship going a little, after 2-3 missions ive turned it down to 85% (for "balance" lol) and now the last 2 chips ive gotten as rewards have vanished after mission. Saw some bug reports mentioning the chips changing after mission reward screens so i think there might be an interplay going on that A.) chip changes due to bug, leading to B.) chip going away due to low item drop. More an issue with my settings and a known bug but thought i'd post the interplay here
