yeah Rivals just generally doesn't like buddies with mechanics attached to them when playing online
don't think there's much I can do about that, sorry

Edit: Testing some of your other buddies too and they seem to cause issues in multiplayer as well

For me at least, this causes infinite loading in multiplayer
