Honestly, our thoughts are pretty similar. I made the Iron Sight addon because I don’t like how the MP5 doesn’t have a rear sight. And when ZVov4ik first commissioned me, I actually misunderstood and thought he wanted the sights to include raised rails — which I also thought looked better anyway.
However, removing risers on red dots so they can't cowitness doesn't make sense.

Look up "AR height sights" When you shoulder different guns, they line up in your vision differently. That's why different guns have different sight heights, and the same optic/red dot on different guns will require different risers. Aks don't use risers because when you shoulder an AK47, the location of the stock and receiver allows you to easily line up the optic even without a riser.
