Haven't fired up Rimworld in a while, so not sure. With Giddy-Up Forked updated to 1.6 it should work fine though. @DOCTOR CROW

I'll look into it at some point this week.

1.6 stable?

Not entirely sure why but the mod settings are extremely laggy, like 3 fps levels

@pphhyy the koolest. But them being too common made them less kool to me :happyfish:

some of those creatures are pretty kool

@rout nope, doesn't change anything by default, gotta set it up yourself.

Thanks for the mod. Does this patch all base game factions by default? Like Tribals will ride boars, but Empire will ride elephants

yea that makes sense. i just dont want to download mods i have to set up manually i am already in the second week trying to fix errors

@Deankiller Turnupseed That'd be a bit counterproductive IMO. Faction modders should create their own FactionRestrictions via XML (and some do); I don't want to overwrite it with my vision of what that faction should be mounting.

But this mod should maybe display those XML FactionRestrictions if they exist. Hm...

can you maybe patch some popular faction mods automatically?

Ey, thanks! Yeah this is more about theming faction mounts correctly (doesn't make much sense for everyone to be riding Varghulfs or BoneReaper animals). They aren't even strong, really.

Plus you usually can't force OP animals to spawn because Giddy-Up itself caps the raid power for each mount/riding pawn. They likely won't spawn any animals if you only enable really strong ones as the pawns riding them wouldn't be strong enough to do it as per (at least how I understood) the internal Giddy-Up logic.

Without this mod you won't see many enemies riding super strong mounts anyways in my experience; unless it's an insanely high point raid.

@Majora - It can just as easily be for aesthetics and theming as it can be to prevent being raided with OP animals.

Cool mod! I honestly probably won't actually end up using it since I don't have many op modded animals I'd care about npcs raiding me with, but I always seriously respect when someone sees an issue with their own playthrough, can't find a mod that addresses it, and just makes it themself lol:steamthumbsup:
