@WolfgangHD Items still float even deep underwater, but they do it slowly enough that you can catch up to them easily.

Will items also float up when you're at the bottom of the ocean and killing fish, collecting kelp, sand, building block etc.? I'd imagine this would be extremely annoying. Or is item buoyancy automatically disabled when there is an ocean background?

@gymnoitan Yes. It prevents items from sinking in any liquid.

Thank goodness this mod has shown up. Does it also prevent my items from sinking in the Liquid Void from Extended Story (another of your mods)?

Honestly just feels right and should've been a vanilla feature all along.

Good catch finding the movement parameter! That's really cool.

@ssdfj How is that relevant to anything here?

@LoftyLoftyLoftyLoftyLofty Probably not. All I did was add something to itemdrop.config because I noticed that it has a movementSettings parameter, so whether or not it's possible to do that depends on what the engine allows.

Does this mod allow you to set buoyancy on a per-item basis?
I would be eager to adopt it if I could choose which items float and which do not.

How was this not in vanilla? Good stuff.

I love watching the car batteries drifting off into the sunset on their annual migration, brings a tear to my eye
