Good evening @zaechery. Sorry for the delay in responding. I did the tests, reviewed the code and it is working normally. The first look... I did a basic test and without success... I looked at the code again and... yes there was a typing error. Sorry again... In this case the error was in the starbooze reborn mod. Because meaddrone and meadqueen only exist there. I will release a patch to fix it with the new starbooze update. Ok?

so i'm a little confused, I made an apiary, i have mead queens, mead drones and some basic frames in the input slots, and i have planted a bunch of blue flowers around the apiary, but the bees still aren't producing anything, is there something i'm missing?

Oh! Ig I misunderstood what it did then, since I was hoping it boosted the production of queens for things like mutations.

Good morning @Hyperdino. The frame status remains the same as the original mod, I didn't change anything. It boosts a little around 0.15.

Good morning @Hyperdino. Yes, that's right. Its purpose is to serve as a frame and if you have the Silver Sokolova growing trays mod you can make fertilizer. I will release an addon for bees in the future and that is in the plans.

Yeah I'm getting the error "Exception caught in client main-loop (AssetException) Error loading asset/interface/tooltips/armoraugment.tooltip" everytime I hover over the bee armor, sending back to menu.

Does this mod require armor augments? I just hovered over the beekeeper armor and my game crashed citing that I didn't have the armor augment tooltip.

Good evening @Drazard@Drazard. From what I'm seeing here, only exceptional and radioactive bees have the possibility of royaljelly. I'll make a fix so that everyone has the possibility of this. Thank you. About bee queens, the answer is yes! All bees that are born outside the apiary have a chance of capturing a queen or drone. You're out of luck! x(

It may just be me, but there is no Queens from mutation or different queen and drones. I hope it was just a bad luck, but I never saw even one queen from breeding.

Also, it seems like it is missing the royal jelly. Sorry if it been talk before, I just want to be sure that I didn't miss something.

Ps : I tried to capture free bees with net from many apiaries. Nothing. Just drones from same type bees or their Queen, but nothing from breeds.

Good evening@Kinsect. Yes, it works with vanilla flowers too. These are the flowers: wildbeeflower, beeflower, flowerred, floweryellow, flowerblue, flowerspring, energiflowerseed, floralytplantseed, goldenglowseed, haleflowerseed, itaseed, nissseed, wubstemseed. If you want, you can pass on the name of the mod and I'll transfer it here. But not for now, I'm gathering ideas for an addon.

Say can the bees work with vanilla flowers as well? kinda like how FU does them?
perhaps even farm-able ones? cause I got a mod that allows you to get the vanilla red, blue, and yellow and farm them

(I'm admittedly not much of a fan of the sunflowers here though I'm guessing they're from the original bees mod ^^;;)

Got booted from a planet with this error. I think it's related to this mod, an unused reference in a patch somewhere maybe?

It's fine, as far as I know, liquid ids in Starbound are limited compared to block ids so liquid conflicts are more likely to happen, and that's something that can't be helped. Still kinda sucks you got a go out of your way to patch conflicts that couldn't be helped though. :steamsad:

I had a feeling it was due to another mod using that same liquid id, but I didn't remember what mod liquid mechanium came from. I might inform Roskii about it once I get back on the PC, though I don't know if he's still developing the Callistan mod or not.

Good morning, @TheTwilightDancer. I've identified the issue: the Calistan race mod uses liquid ID 83, which conflicts with another mod. I'll address this by assigning a unique liquid ID to the Calistan race to prevent such conflicts. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

btw for the IFD_statuseffects.config file, you need to patch it instead of replacing the file, otherwise IFD won't be able to find certain things that aren't in the file replacement and break food items

Yes, I can do that—but may I ask why? Renaming everything would require changing items, scripts, objects, and more. It's a significant amount of work and time.
In over 11 years, there hasn't been a standalone mod that adds bees to Starbound. Only FU includes bees, and its system is quite complex—personally, I don't enjoy it, but that's just my opinion. While it's technically possible to rename everything, it would be a considerable undertaking. Are you perhaps looking to make this compatible with FU?

Starbooze Reborn and Bees Reborn are compatible with each other. As I mentioned before, I use these mods in my personal modpack. Regarding meadhoney, I added it to Starbooze to provide a new path to obtain it—either through trees (meadhoney tree) or hives (meadhoney hive). The Aging Alien Alcohols Addon includes its own meadhoney hive, which can also be used as another method to acquire meadhoney in Starbooze. As for Bees, it features the bees_liquidhoney, which can be utilized in Starbooze; however, I have removed the recipe. My goal is to ensure compatibility with other mods without the necessity of adding them, thereby preventing the mod from becoming bloated and losing its originality.

They shouldn't conflict, Bees is entirely separate from Starbooze and Aging Alien Alcohols so there's no reason they can't be used with each other. The honeys in this mod will have different names and purposes to the honey used to make mead in Starbooze and all associated alcohol addons. :)

Yippee! More honey! The old mod was actually where I got the sprite for my beehive from my Aging Alien Alcohol addon mod. Nice to see the bees mod back in its full glory and this time, without Frackin Universe! :D
