How would option A work with the Scottish Resistance?
TheGameChanger 30 Jun @ 3:54pm
if only this taunt had an achievement where you place all eight stickies on the 2fort bridge and detonate them all with this taunt
In order to make the taunt more balanced it should have a longer start till he detonates

Being able to get while seeing what's behind a corner is terrible idea. Kamikaze version can give unfair advantage (read p2w) in rare cases, as stock Demo have no such taunts.
HamsterGabe 3 Jun @ 11:54am
It would be more balanced to detonate stickies with option A, but kamikaze attacks with option B would be funny. Which one is more important is up to you. Definitely my favorite taunt kill on the workshop so far!
Jouppi 30 May @ 6:43pm
It's a really cool taunt but option B seems semi "pay-to-win" because you'd normally have to have the Ullapool Caber (or a sword) to taunt kill
Drizz 28 May @ 6:42pm
cute, but option A seems terrible for gameplay purposes. being able to see around corners with the third person view is poor design. Self detonation is much more in-line with the established taunts.
Lance Scout 23 May @ 12:50am
This is perfect!
DEMOPAN 22 May @ 5:02pm
okay boomer
Clocky (on vacation) 21 May @ 11:47am
no this is not good at all
Miserable May Mallard 19 May @ 7:47pm
COOL TAUNT valve needs to stop being lazy and add something cool like this :medicon:
Pinewabble 19 May @ 12:02pm
Its such a shame that Valve removed the ability to detonate stickies while taunting, so I would really love to see it with option A get added in :happy_creep:
JAS-C 18 May @ 8:25pm
Honestly, it's the best way I could see special kill taunts be added into a game: it is very predictable(Some had problem with ramming taunt for Heavy because it starts like his default one), it is interacting with already established entities(Stickies) or doesn't give you full-on advantage(Kamekaze style) and it still has mocking/authentic potential(Small gags on spawn would be epic with this thing and it would be very envious to see someone make something cool with it or infuriating to witness something stupid done with it).
I like it.
Balder1902 18 May @ 11:40am
I think the only way for this to be added is death option A
Tricky Biz 18 May @ 9:13am
Death option A is the way to go honestly, it'd be a really cool taunt kill :sticky::demoticon:
Globaduy 18 May @ 4:51am
how shoul I feel about this?
Red-Tape Annoyance 18 May @ 4:36am
Death Option A would not cause an advantage problem if there is any I will vote for this
Archimedes 18 May @ 12:52am
Wait so would it actually, work, ingame? Would Valve have to make some code themselves or is everything ready just waiting to be added? Becouse if its works, that is sick
CAT_ATACK 17 May @ 11:29pm
Death Option A is perfect honestly; you're not paywalling a tauntkill, so much as you're adding a taunt that also happens to have a secret function like RPS does for Saxton Hale.
Testsubject276 17 May @ 9:14pm
I really like the stickybomb functionality, but it's gonna have to be a no from me for the self-detonate option.
$$$$$MR.Krabs$$$$$ 17 May @ 8:36pm
wow
Robo Rex 17 May @ 8:03pm
i choose a
Zeugziumy 17 May @ 6:07pm
Death Option A would be the most ideal, since it's not exactly a kill taunt but more of a gameplay-functionality being re-used as a taunt, being detonating stickies. If the taunt only detonates what is placed, then yeah, this is perfectly balanced.

I disagree with taunt kills behind a paid taunt, but this is an exception as it strikes a perfect balance. It's purely luck as you can't really tell if your timing will be right and your stickies will be detonated in case you miss them, having you to place it again.

My only gripe is regarding people who wish to use this taunt WITHOUT triggering the stickies. I can see that being a problem.
Taunt kills should not be behind a pay wall
Lovecraft 17 May @ 5:25pm
Forced. Object out of the ground.
Paper Games 17 May @ 5:24pm
Honestly this taunt would have been pretty cool even without the taunt-killing aspect, the detonate stickies is just *chef's kiss:demoticon:* tho :sticky:
ForwardStory 17 May @ 3:52pm
I prefer the stickybomb detonation version and also think it would be absolutely awesome.
John George Diefenbaker 17 May @ 3:31pm
Did somebody say boom?

Suicide bomber please!
Patch 17 May @ 1:18pm
This is gonna go crazy with the sticky jumper
PIXEL RORY 17 May @ 1:10pm
Oh I hope the self det is whats used in game. Demo having his own version of the equalizer taunt would be goated.
Noras The Goat 17 May @ 12:59pm
i'm sorry but the tf2c dynamite is my top explosive related taunkill but this is also pretty neat kinda
waiting for tf2 update 17 May @ 12:21pm
i can already see people kill binding to this with sticky jumper
Lundatree 17 May @ 11:53am
been seeing a lot of these "kill taunts" lately. not complaining though
setry  [author] 17 May @ 11:43am
Everything you see in the video is purely a suggestion to Valve :steamhappy:
But I am glad you like the idea
♠Blake The Gambler♠ 17 May @ 11:42am
at first i was like "huh, dont see how this is a kill taunt, this seems kinda boring", but then i see the whole thing about how you can self detonate with it AND use it to trigger stickies? honestly might be kind of an OP Taunt in some ways, but at the same time i love it, and must marvel at just how this could even be done.
