@DrosselmeierMC Feel free to edit the mission to your liking. I understand it's not the most realistic scenario but I thought it'd be fun to be thrown into the defence immediately. Maybe I can tone down the AS-4s so it's not so much down to rng. I defended it in testing but I also knew where to look.

I know that the fleet get's spotted instantly because of the TU-95, but why is it allowed to be this close to my carrier in a war? there are 2 E-2Cs up together with CAP, so why is it there? This makes the entire mission RNG based with the missile targeting and interceptions, I even launched 20 phoenixes at the AS-4s as you can't prevent their launch (which was the entire goal of the F-14, AIM-54 combo). I got unlucky and was kicked out of the mission instantly. I honestly don't understand why people put ships within detection range from the start, just why, that solves the entire problem of naval warfare since the entire kill-chain isn't modeled well yet.

@a62443166 The mission is "scripted" so that your fleet is spotted immediately. It is supposed to happen.

Why my fleet keep getting spotted moments after I start the mission, even if I have EMCON on every ship?
