An updated has been dropped:
- Overtime no longer uses the ugly game_text.
- Added new Mobster voice lines for the following events:
  - Throwing the Money Bag
  - BLU attacking the point without the VIP
  - Surviving a backstab
  - Getting soaked in Jarate
  - Starting Rock-Paper-Scissors
- Added Soldier and Sniper voice lines for calling the Mobster a Spy.
- Added goal descriptions.
- Fixed a rare crash on Linus related to shader materials.
- Fixed the Typewriter having a passive reload due to a bug.
- Fixed the Lead Pipe not bending after dealing damage.
- Various performance improvements and code cleanups.

It might take some servers some time (an hour or two) to update the map.

Okay so. I have an idea for a new map. Hear me out.

The mobster has a relative over at Malibu beach, and recently the said relative lost his… how do I put this? Collection of Questionable substances, and he believes red team took them and is planning on shipping them somewhere.

So of course the relative plans to give half the substances and a big check if the mobster and his goons (blue team) stop red team, and fetch the… substances for him.

There is something wonky going on with bots, they don't seem to be recognizing the objective and end up standing in spawn. Red team also sets up at the wrong location.

Normally a server restarts itself after its current map gets updated on the workshop. For one reason or another, it didn't happen on the EU server. Asked the host to restart it manually.

So uhhh. I've been getting an error saying, that "Client's map differs from the server's", even after manually deleting, and re-subscribing the map. Anyone's got any ideas, what's the issue here?

Been trying to connect to the EU server, by the way.

A gamemode update has been released:
- **Taken measures against camping the Mobster Transformation Pickup.**
- The Typewriter's damage was reduced by 18%.
- The Typewriter's spread and damage fall-off were rebalanced.
The Typewriter used to be extraordinarily strong at close range, very weak at mid-range, and had precision higher than you'd expect from such a weapon. Hopefully, these changes will fix the problems.

- Added briefing description.
- Added garlic bread.
- Adjusted Mobster's hat (thanks Sam).
- The Mobster now comes pre-packaged with a cigar and no longer needs to taunt to obtain one.
- Added animation to the deployed Money Bag.
- Changed the hit sound for the Lead Pipe.

- The Typewriter's reload animation now better matches the actual time of the clip refill.
- Fixed Typewriter's Shove not working under certain conditions where you'd expect it to work.
- Mobster's weapons now glow under crits in first-person.
- Fixed Shortstop appearing for the Mobster in first-person while ubered.
- Restored Money Bag's jigglebones.
- Fixed Overtime activating during Waiting for Players.
- Fixed the Mobster receiving unintended extra damage knockback.

Today I couldnt see mobster on my team, he was invisible and only saw flowating above his head health counter. Also mobster compas got brocken and was pointing in one dierection all the time, not at him. Weird bug. I tried to rejoin the server but it didnt fix anything.

One of the creators of the map "SKIBIDI-PILLED CHUNGUS CHAD" was hacking in the US server i was just playing on. When i spectated him his shots were going way off his crosshair and when he was playing Sniper he got head shots when he was not even remotely aiming on the body. it was not lag or anything like that i was spectating other people too and they all looked completely normal. So that's real nice i guess.

Will look into it. To fix this glitch on your end, delete sound.cache file inside the `Team Fortress 2/tf/` folder.

Hi. I have been having issues with weapon, hurt, hit and kill sounds not working on vip server.

here are example error messages in the console:

We've looked into reasons why Valve's attempts (yes, there were several) didn't work, and spent over a year in development to make sure that those problems don't become issues in practice in our version.
In fact, we have been working on another VIP character that we've delayed to make sure he's good when we release him.

You could A-pose as the Mobster if you pick Heavy, start rotating your minigun and then pick the case up, but for whatever reason this thing got removed so bring it back pls!

Bots do work in this mode, but this one map in particular has been reported to have issues.
As an alternative, we have 3 servers (US, EU and AU) full of actual players listed in the description.

is there a way to use bots on this (the offline ones)? I tried the normal "tf_bot_add 24" and "nav_generate" but only the snipers, spies, and engineers move out of the base by themselves.

You DON'T put them in your map folder - you just add `workshop/3484046766` to your maps list and that's it.

so i put the map well all 4 maps on my maplist workshop/3484046766 but when i see when they download it says maps/3484046766 and your server it says workshop/3484046766 i put them all in the map folder is there something else i need to do? i do have the names of the maps in the mapcycle to just the name of the maps?
When BLU capped the 3rd point, some of us on RED were trapped in 3rd spawn. I'll thumb the map anyway because I know it'll be fixed.

Really liking this, only issue I think is just slow down the capture rate a bit, it's a little too hard to push the Mobster off the point on defense.

Once this mode is done and polished, a mode where both teams have a VIP would be cool. Mobster CTF maybe? Only the VIP can carry the intel. Could be fun.

The gamemode has been updated:
- Fixed the Black Square of Doom, for real this time (thanks Ficool2).
- Reverted the Typewriter's firing speed reduction. It's now as fast as it used to be.
- Increased the Typewriter's clip size from 40 to 50.

Vineyard update:
- Severely reduced the round time bonus for capturing points.
