This mod causes a frequent error in GetX and IsoPlayer, because it modifies the animation/hit system, conflicting with the game's sound logic/FMOD. If anyone knows a fix, I couldn't find it. @seronis u can fix this ?

basically the code was healing the zombie on every hit that wasnt a head/neck shot, and any hit that wasnt insta kill it would reset health to half instead of doing half damage

to fix the bugs that heal the zombies change both of the lines that sets health to 0.5 to

zombie:setHealth(zombie:getHealth()*0.5)

and completely comment out/delete the line that sets health to 1.0

The zombie gaining health after I hit them is still active just to let you know, not every time but enough to make clearing hordes more difficult

Consider keeping the current big and finding a way to implement it (no clue how hard that would be I don’t mod the game) as a sandbox option setting (maybe a value 0-100 for how much HP gained on non-headshot hit).

I know myself and others would literally die for a mod that makes zombies headshot only and you just had it fall into your lap if this bug can be (reliably!) turned into a feature!

Other than that great mod, I’m on my hands and knees begging you not to consider the random HP gain a bug, keep up the good work

Sorry for the long absence. The exams are over and now I have time to finally update this mod, so it will be done soon. The plans include fixing bugs with HP and conflicts, adding config

I have the same problem as the people in the comments, when I hurt a zombie and then push it away it mysteriously heals.

sandbox customizable settings for this to determine body shot damage and headshot crit rate along with some other goodies would be a godsend and you would be the greatest modder of all time. Already picturing the balancing with wandering zombies and zombie smell

If you can make damage to body parts that are not head completely negated and add a sandbox customizable head damage multiplier it would be perfect.

Доброго времени суток, хотел уточнить, почему зомби хилятся от ударов иногда (если смотреть через мод комбат текст) и иногда убитые зомби пропадают, это может быть как-то связанно с этим модом? Заранее спасибо

Hmm does this have any conflicts with wondering zombies or evolved traits world ETW? I was having some weird fps slowdowns after enabling TWD hit system.

They should only die from headshots.they die when you shoot them 2-3 times in the leg

We wanted to make it so that the rest of the hits don't do normal damage. I'll do that in the next update.

Would be possible to edite the code to get a variant where only hits to the zombies heads would deal the normal damage while reducing the damage dealt when hitting any other body part?

Support for build 42 has been added and can be used. While the balance in it may change, but it is already playable. About other reworkings of the combat system, I will think about it.

Good to hear that you guys will try making this for B42. Will make fighting zombies less of a hassle when weapons have two durabilities, and with muscle strain.
