Absolutely amazing! A Hungarian king did this once to make sure their vassals won't be able to rebel, and I always wondered why is it not a thing in CK3. Thank you for bringing this to the community!

I think it makes more sense to just use the control mechanic as its pretty much already built it just nerf the control.
otherwise a great mod! nice addition.

This is kinda realistic actually. A king has to rely on trusted vassals to get the tax and the further away the less people are likely to pay to a far away sovereign.

If it's not too far, there will be no severe penalty. Under the current values, assuming the capital is Paris, almost all of France falls within the control range.

Guys, this mod makes a few small changes, it does not rewrite the AI into a CK3 version of Deep Blue, and you wouldn't find an actual Smart AI fun to play against anyway.
