It lies in the texture. It has 2 different models but 1 texture. I have a battery flashing mod, and this mod also applies to this prop. I'll be able to fix it later.

My only issue with the trash out of the boxes is it drops sometimes combine battery and it's just a prop and not actual armor

if you want this mod to work via workshop downloading, you have to put it ABOVE any replacements, and BELOW any scripts, it works for me when i use it from the workshop, so i figure it might work for you guys too
