I have my own bacteria sound system for versus in the works, but I also do have interest in letting special infected hear the same ambient music survivors do.

Could you make a script that allows infected players to hear contagion music like survivors?

When you have someone pinned and you become the Tank, the SI pin music still plays while you're the Tank, just a small bug

@Hey, Mister!!! this works in versus, you can avoid enabling addons to turn this on if you simply extract the directorbaseaddon.nut file the script is in, change the name of it to something else (like specialmusic.nut), then simply put a new line in your existing directorbaseaddon file including it "IncludeScript("specialmusic")

played several games with this script enabled and it's been a blast, honestly not sure how this wasn't a base game thing

This mod doesn't add any new sounds, it simply makes the existing special infected music play.

sorry i meant separate sounds like the survivor's sounds are intact still but the infected's sounds can be changed. awesome mod btw

any music replacement mods in the workshop work with this script.

This is cool, i wonder what it would sound like if the special infected attacks had unique tracks for when you're playing as them that would be really cool

@frankie it works in any gamemode, versus by default has addons disabled but there's a guide by Xanaguy that lets you easily reenable them

i noticed hunter/louis: out on the street
smoker/bill: in the alley while the smoker chills on top of sum stairs
charger/ellis: at the coaster in dark carnival
jockey/ellis: at the beginning of chapter 1 in dark carnival
