Nope. Just like you don't need boxes to pack stuff like ammo into boxes in vanilla.

It ain't pounds, it's "weight units", and now that you clarified, I see what you mean. :)
I'll fix that on the next update(s).

The 5.56 carton weighs 9 lb for me, I think because of the Firearms & Gun Parts mod. Even after I drop everything, I can still only hold 5 cartons at a time.

Update 1
-Added the option to use this mod without the packs looting in the world. Thanks to Steam User PuzzyDiztroier for the suggestion!
-Added packing Planks into a super lightweight pack.
-Added another world model for big'un packs.

Great mod but is there a reason why certain ammo calibers require 6 instead of 3 stacks? It makes certain packs like the 5.56 impossible to create.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words both here and on my Discord. I'd be happy to add to this mod, but I hope everyone can understand that I'm done with the previous conflict. That person is free to copy & paste my craftrecipes to come up with new boxes or packs, and as long as none of my LUA shows up in their mod, we're going all be just fine.

Would you consider implementing some of the same compatibilities? The reduced metal and wood weight mods both come to mind.
