It's all good, people likely just assume that changing the model to the regular turret will also affect the rebel turrets in EP2 but since they're technically two different models even though they share the same models, similar to the supply crates, a mod that takes those out (which there is one which makes for a very good challenge on hard difficulty) the crates with the beacons in EP2 will still be present, because even though the two models share the same model the code doesn't treat them as the same.
I'll probably replace them anyway. But with a regular, unedited vehicle model, BMP or T-55.
What good would that be to replace a cut enemy that you'll only see in one single spot of the Citadel?

by the way I hope you can do something similar for Black Mesa game where black facility looks something akin to how faclilites look in the 1960s like have it where npcs would for example all the US HECU marines would being the Army and marine Vietnam era uniforms and be using the M16A1 rifle maybe the black op assassins you can have as USSR KBT Russian spies having gotten into black mesa.
