It's not actually like this. I am playing cold war right now, and yes, of course all swatikas are turned into iron crosses. However, the facility is called "nazi" in the description, and even the characters say the word "nazi" from the comms, they never abandoned the nazi theme at all and even call it at such. They just don't have swatikas on the flags or armbands.

They kinda were… But for Ultimis Richtofen, they had to rework his character to have him hate the nazis, despite him being affiliated to Group 935.

It’s complicated, but they were straying away with WW2 facilities starting with BO1.

I get it, having Iron Crosses is only a safe net for them to sell Chronicles and censorship being bad, but let’s be real, COD was straying away from WW2 to now know what COD is now.

I thought bo3 took place in a timeline where group 935 advanced further in power before the nazi party that the germans weren't using the swastikas in that timeline

These dudes weren't "Regular Zombies," they weren't "Woke zombies," they weren't "Allied zombies." They are Nazi zombies, having their banner reflect that just makes it much more obvious, it is not racist and it is not bigotry it's just historical reflection or for immersion nothing more nothing less.

imadethebanban. Your right the dlc5 for bo2 was even going to be censored for the remakes and they were for sure not going to use the actual iconography for the bo3 dlc. But I uncensored it anyway cause that is obv what it was gonna be anyway in an alternate universe

i dont think the dlc maps were going to have swstickers orginally, and i liked them just being the other one, but i like the immersion for the old maps again!

I downloaded the mod and when I activate it and go to zombies the game crashes, it says "Could not find zone 'es_zm_mod'". What am I doing wrong? The only DLC I have is Chronicles

Steam doesn't relaly censor these things. You can find workshop maps with swatikas shown right on the page.

yup Yeem didnt wanna risk steam removing the mod. either way hope you like it. And ya for everyone wondering I plan to do more but I broke my mouse and have to use a rel crappy one that I simply dont wanna work with. But everyone pointed out great things that can also be censored

There is more censorship I can think of that could be uncensored. On Shi No Numa they censored the imperial Japan flag with the current Japan flag.

Moon also does have a lot of iron crosses, mainly on the doors I think.
