Thank you for your update. It's my favorite MOD map in B41

Your mod will not work in UNIX systems like mac or linux because the casing in the common folder is wrong. in windows Common = common but in UNIX Common =/= common.

The folder should be common, all lower case

That's awesome! Just hope that what you mean by "vibes" you mean a small and cozy sort of town. I've always based here just because of how small and close everything is, and it's always been a perfect base location for me.

oh. i am posting some sneak peaks of buildings etc on kofi when im working on them, so if you click on the link in the bottom of the description you can see some screenshots there :) for anyone curious.

This map will (probably) stay as it is, apart from the new firestation that isnt in the b41 version. However I am planning on making another map with the new b42 tiles once we get access to them. Next map will have new buildings and a whole new town ofc but the same "vibes" as the ashenwood vibe is what i enjoy playing in myself. New map will also have more farm areas since this one doesnt. I cant give a spesific timeframe on when this map will come out since its a lot of work and depends on the official modding tools being released etc etc, but if you enjoy ashenwood, then you know that there will be another in the same style coming :)

Will any new features from B42 be ported over to this updated map? Just seeing it as a reupload form B41 to B42. I love this map a lot but it sort of bums me out now that I'm used to all the new roof tiles and house stuff not being used. Not that it's a "dealbreaker" for me, just would like to see some of the new features added to my favorite map that I typically base up on.

There is something strange with this map. And also the precious one (Ashenwood). My FPS drops from steady 144 to 20-40.

Been walking through the new B42 version even if it’s not finished, it’s already got that spark. You’re building something really solid here. Don’t let the bad comments get to you, a lot of us see the effort and heart you’re putting in. Keep at it, this map’s going places. Cant wait for the full b42 release. The Mapping Community is Proud.

genuinely, as a modder myself, granted not for zomboid, the only reason i will subscribe to this is because my save already had the map, but the way you handled it wasn't the proper way of doing it, you upload your UPDATED map, talk to the modder who uploaded the unofficial version, and they hide the mod and label it UNSUPPORTED or NOT NEEDED, or something, the way you went about it is frankly just awful to the community
