@Yays I'm pretty sure those are just the NE mesh put over the HD biomechanoid. I don't know how their attachments and animations work, but it's still probably incompatible.

@šarko I can't. The Next Encounter version has a completely different set of animations. Specifically the attack sequence: The classic biomech has an aiming animation and a separate firing animation for each arm. Those steps in its attack sequence are an integral part of the code. The NE version has the entire attack sequence baked into the animation. It's not possible to port without rewriting the code itself, which is not possible in Revolution.

Maybe, MAYBE if I separated the animation into multiple animations, to match the attack sequence. Or make entirely new animations. But that's way too much trouble for something that's not guaranteed to work. And even then, the two biomechs have different models in NE, as opposed to just different texture. Again, not possible to pull off without changing the code. Not to mention how jank these converted NE models are to begin with.
