So I know there's 3 versions of this mod I assume those are previous ones right ?

Transport limitations create a need to break up the units so they can all be transported in 3 BMP's so the only way to get around the limitation is to spread out the units between vehicles. The added secondary advantage is that the Platoon HQ unit can be used as a buff for the weapons teams and the soviet player can use the company HQ can be used for infantry or IFV buffs.

So a soviet BMP motorifle platoon can still be deployed as shown in the documentation diagrams and rides in three BMP's, and the support weapons from the company still get a single BMP from the platoon HQ to load their 3 PKM medium machine guns, and the two 30mm grenade launcher teams, can ride in the CO HQ BMP and if the player buys two additional Platoon HQs. They can also get space for 3 additional strelas and. 3 additional PKM medium machine guns. It was the best way I could manage to reorganize the units to fit Russian combat doctrine using the game mechanics.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU USE THESE INSTRUCTIONS: You need to make sure you are running ver. 141953 of WARNO which can be selected from the settings menu under BETA and enabling the game to run other builds from WARNO

I just updated the mod and for some reason It doesn't let me select it in the mod menu. Do you have any idea what the cause could be?

FULDA GAP 1989: the battle for the center implements a global re-balance of all units in the game, changing values such as speed, ranges, LOS, and squad sizes. Also, The Division deck have been redesigned to model tables of organization & equipment from documented sources such as Field Manuals and academic articles. All tables of organization and equipment have been reproduced as faithfully as possible to create both WARSAW PACT and NATO Orders of Battle for the historical time period. The multi-player mode of WARNO has been adjusted to permit players to form company and battalion sized initial deployments of units. The income rates have been modified also to change the values for the income stream during multi-player matches to prevent spamming.

I am working on scripting the current campaign first for a 1989 start date then once all the elements are in place I will roll back availability of units based on player difficulty selection.

wait so is this mod set in '89 or '75? honestly a mod that's more focused on 70s era tech would be cool yet horrifying for NATO, M60A1s and M48s up against T-72s and BMPs

The Netherlands and Belgian and WARSAW PACT forces from DLC content units are scheduled for completion by end of July.
