Could you make mechanitors ignore mechs set to recharge when seducing them?
Or make the mechs do the task anyway? I've had my mechanitor go up to a recharging (Dormant charge) mech for lovin', the mech wakes up for a moment, then immediately back to recharge and the mechanitor goes on with their day without getting any intimacy.

@malicron if it hels there is the mod show me your hat and hair. It defaults all hats even helmets to hidden but you can turn them back on. But it is an all or nothing.the item is always hidden or always shown.

Quick question: would it be possible to have pawns take off their head wear as well as their other cloths while "romancing"? It looks a bit silly to have two people mash their power armor helmets together in a "passionate embrace".

@turkler That would be cool actually! Another question, because I couldn't find it. Is the intimacy need supposed to disappear after a certain age? One of my pawns used to have, and now at 55+ does not. Is that intentional?

@Ennian I mean I'll add a chance multiplier for pregnancies next update, if that helps. I'm looking over the code and it is indeed practically identical

@turkler I have no idea, it's weird then! I think it's happened at the normal chance about twice, and I have modified Pigskins who all have the fertile gene so should technically be just constantly pregnant. I've played enough family-style games that this is definitely an exception. It might be an interaction, though I am not sure which that could be. Good to know it's nothing to do directly with the code of this mod though.

@Ennian could just be placebo, or you have something else affecting things? for reference, this mod's pregnancy code is the same as vanilla. as in, I literally copied over the code with ilspy and made some surface level changes, nothing that should affect pregnancy chance
also I have no plans for any sort of pregnancy delay

Also, I read a comment below asking for a womb delay or delay to pregnancy after giving birth, and I want to ask if this can please be an optional feature instead of a mandatory change. I like having lots of kids, and also, breastfeeding as is reduces the chance of another baby soon after birth to practically zero anyway, so would be a bit sad if the mod suddenly introduced an arbitrary cooldown timer on pregnancies.

Hey turkler, enjoying your mod and hoping I can ask a couple questions. I'm a generations style player and I've noticed when starting to use your mod (I also use Way Better Romance) that my pawns seem to get pregnant less often. I like keeping the pregnancy chance on 100% to have a degree of surprise and randomness when playing, and before I would get quite a few (un)fortunate buns in the oven, but since installing the mod I am finding I have to basically set to try for baby to get any offspring...does the mod mess with the chances? I have currently set the seduction events to 0.75 because I find too much seducin' is a bit distracting, but my pawns are getting it on plenty and no babies.

My first male colonist is being constantly seduced by his nieces, and sister.
Not such a big deal, but he also has a constant +48 mood from it :steamfacepalm:

@Allianser it's already disabled for mech type humanoid pawns. I obviously can't patch every possible mod myself, you should ask the developer of rim robots to make a compatibility patch

I've started new run with Rim-Robots_, and for some reason mechanents have Intimacy bar. Is there a way to disable it for mechanents and personae?

@Dealer Mangan that lovin' animation is almost certainly from yayo's animation; I remember using Way Better Romance and yayo's animation and the hookup interaction had the vanilla 'lying in bed facing the ceiling with hearts flying overhead' lovin' animation while normal lovin' did not.

@NonExistantFlower no, the mech has to be explicitly under *that* mechanitor's control. to be clear, servicin' is only available to that mech's overseer and no one else. not even other mechlords

In vanilla, when pawns do lovin', they sort of tumble beneath the sheets visually, unless it's added by yayo's animation? I'm sure it's vanilla though? Anyway, with this mod however, they just stand on the bed naked (by the way, accessories, like backpacks, shield belts, etc, stay on), and no tumbling, just static. I dunno, maybe it's because i'm using slab beds? But same thing with bedrolls. I dunno, it just irks me that they're static, unmoving. I'm not asking for lewd animations like from THAT mod. But it just doesn't look right this way. In fact, it doesn't look like *anything*.

I'm also having the same issue. "Partner only" seems to not include non-married lovers for some reason, so people keep getting "lustful act" mood loss.

So is there an ideology option to both not have pawns get upset at all if they do it with their lover while also not having them go off cheating with anyone? the'free' option has them seducing people other than their bf/gf while the 'partner only if committed' option still has a -5 mood and opinion hit when they do it with their lover

@Mac performance wise? not a big impact, no.
yes and no, whether a hostile pawn has the need active depends on the situation
yes, recluse pawns don't have an intimacy need (but can still perform intimate acts)
no, no changes to orientation trait spawn rates, that's why I recommend a mod like way better romance

Jokes aside, questions;
Since this mod adds an entire new need that constantly ticks down for every colonist, can we expect any performance impact?
Is the intimacy need disabled for hostile pawns?
Does this mod interact with the Recluse trait?
Does this mod touch the basegame sexual orientation trait spawn rates?
Is there a way to reduce the autonomous lovin' chance? Could be bias but I find it too frequent.

Anyway a patch could be added to make the manual lovin mod work on mechs and giving a stat boost to intimacy as currently using the manual lovin mod doesnt seem to give a stat boost

forgot to post today's patch here, whoops. here's some late changelogs
Changelog:

Updated the Vanilla Traits Expanded patch, pawns with the Prude trait will now only do lovin' with their partners.
Re-implemented the lovin' afterglow thought from vanilla.
Applied the lovin' cooldown fix to mechanoid lovin' as well.

Most lovin' functions were moved to their own helper functions. Although the mod was still super flexible before, modders can now tweak *everything* about lovin' without having to make complex Harmony transplier patches.

Any chance you could create a patch for Universal Pregnancy? Or add an option directly into this mod for any pawn to impregnate any other pawn? It's one of the only features I used from the forbidden mod but I strongly prefer this mod's approach.
