I mean, Yoshi's recovery is butt in Smash so... accurate. I feel he'd be too powerful otherwise.

@Colbx his recovery is Less bad if you use the popup(s) from eggroll, which is a little counterintuitive if youre coming from smash where eggroll is always bad fgjshgfjsgf

As fun as that would be that would be *way* more work than it's worth (this goes for pretty much any full-resprite costume)

Maybe add a skin with baby Mario (unless you have and I haven’t seen it yet)

I like how you made it SSB64 Yoshi lol. I'd recommend making his double jump armor last longer. His recovery atm is really bad

Try updating your build. His Up B was patched to have recovery properties, I need to update the steam page too but I'm currently working on yet another patch.

Another suggestion- if you wanna ground pound an enemy off to the side of the arena, you should be able to bounce off the enemy maybe? Also, I'm still a bit confused how the recovery is to work... I'm used to up special being the option, or down special, depending on the moveset.

Ok yeah if I un-select then re-select a custom character and hit random, then do the same with Yoshi the game crashes from trying to load the player bg for him

I don't know if its just me but the game crashed when I un-select and re-select Yoshi

ngl yoshi's AI is sad. it doesn't know how to recover since it's jump is the recovery and it just straight up SDs with down special. also the fact that you can just get opponents high on percent then use nspecial off-stage to guarantee a kill is kinda bs. otherwise good character

As a yoshi main in smash I am so excited to see so much care put into my favorite character, some minor nitpicks though, he should be a good amount floatier. It just doesn't feel right with him falling as fast as he does. His recovery is also kind of atrocious. You could either just make the egg boost a little higher or what I think would be best is making it so he can double jump again after wall jumping leveling the playing field a little bit with other rivals recoveries. Overall, great character and I thank you for making him, the update did help some too

New update's out! Addressed the big issues with his recovery, among other things. Also, new compatibility for anyone that wants to make them!

This character is amazing, the only thing holding it back is that yoshi basically has no recovery. I think the idea that Jasminetron proposed is the best way to solve this issue imo. I also liked the stage, the winged cloud gimmick is really cool

this version of yoshi is so fucking good, like everyone else is saying, the recovery should be alot stronger. i think giving the player back their jump after walljumping would fix alot of peoples gripes with the character. also genuinely thank you for putting peak into rivals
