I have experience with MDL and the most critical thing is if there is no bone or attachment for the bullet muzzle position

some models don't have collision, that's also maybe one of the reasons

some models have "muzzle_flash" attachment or other name instead of required "muzzle". Need to modify ragshoot method.

it was using the swep worldmodels that are included with the modded homicide weapon base

vectors are no problem, but one issue i have encountered when i was attempting to add homicide weapons was the muzzle is aimed at me or its not positioned right with the weapon
and thats where i gave up

weapon base should not affect ragdoll shooting. I looked and RADS uses the same shooting method as Homigrad (or slightly modified). All you need is the right models (or code modification) and a little patience to write the vectors

would really appreciate some help, but modded homicide sweps use a different type of base and im vibecoding most of the stuff
the source code is free, you can literally extract it

I think you can subscribe to an addon like Easy Entity Inspector to check what attachment is on the model. And if there is no attachment, then you can use the bone (if it is there of course). Of course, you will have to change the code a little, but I don't think it will be hard. Good luck

I don't remember how to do it in RADS, I remember how in Homigrad, but I think RADS is not much different. The most important thing is to add vectors for the right and left hand in ragdoll, also it seems like a certain attachment is needed on the model from where the bullets will fly out ("Muzzle"),
