(this is an excellent mod though i appreciate the work put into it!)

there does seem to be a prevalence of still, cloudy weather over sunny, or even stormy weather, from playing with this halfway through my playthrough. as for the more 'extreme' stormy weather where the sky turns green-ish, i have maybe seen it once (pretty sure it was scripted), twice in 30 hours? as feedback i'd appreciate a version that does away with the regional weather stuff, or to make it a bit more varied/customizable since weather types do begin to feel a bit repetitive (malachite is so cloudy all the time).
Ace  [author] 27 Jul @ 1:49am
Yes thats the case.
chowderFlapjack 26 Jul @ 10:11pm
just curious about the "regional weather diversity", and "immersive atmospherics" parts, what weather types are tied to what regions? are certain areas more stormy than others? sounds cool if thats the case

wish there was an optional version to customize weather a bit more. Game looks so good with sunny weather but I feel it rarely stays sunny very long. I get it should be a gloomy game but it's hard to want gloom when it just looks amazing while sunny. Or if you would be willing to explain which lines in the cfg file deal with sunny weather I can edit it myself.

What a great mod, right at the start i was fooled into thinking an emission was going to happen, when it was just a rainstorm with red sky haha

I wonder if you could maybe make the rain storms a bit longer lasting? I feel like they end a bit to soon.

Question!
Does this Mod remove any in game content at all, for example does it out right replace certain weather effects or does this mod simply adds on top?

No, you do not.

Hello. Do I have to start all over from the begining for the mod to work?
Poleeyan 15 Jul @ 3:00am
Well, maybe its a game bug, or, it was one of the restored weathers. Anyway, thank you for the answers. Special thanks for longer days, be well!
Ace  [author] 14 Jul @ 3:45pm
I might make those fake clouds bigger but i havent touched it yet unfortunately. It there are some lightning that wont have the clouds tho, some of the smaller ones
Poleeyan 14 Jul @ 1:49pm
2) been playing and catching some screenshots with ya mod, and caught a screenshot with thunder without fake cloud. Made me delete the screenshot… instead of sending it, big brain time here.
Ace  [author] 14 Jul @ 11:10am
1) Emission average minimum time is about the same as vanilla, they occur every 2 or so hours, but has a low chance to appear 45-30 mins earlier than vanilla. The emissions should be happening somewhat at the same rate as vanilla unless youre getting lucky. Maybe you went into some triggers that toggled some scripted emissions. The system is anyways changing a bit for next version.

2) Im not sure i understand, since i have not touched the thunder in this way. Also the thunder does not illuminate the sky in vanilla, its just a fake "Cloud" sprite that appears with thunder to simulate lighting up the Sky.
Poleeyan 14 Jul @ 3:25am
The mod is gorgeous, but there are few problems. The main thing is vanilla mod. already 10/10 but there are issues that make this mod 9/10.
1) Frequent emissions. I know it's a matter of luck and all that, but in a vanilla game, emissions aren't as frequent as they are here. There were times that it looked like spamming emissions, you should not do so often, you need to increase the minimum range value for the frequency of emissions.
2) Played during a thunderstorm with and without the mod, and I would like to ask. Isn't lightning an atmospheric phenomenon? Why the sky is not illuminated with the appearance of lightning? This is in vanilla without mod, but with mod - broken.
Ace  [author] 13 Jul @ 11:43pm
Its planned but later
Mykhailo_Cheremoshna 13 Jul @ 3:30pm
Nice mode. But is it possible to add milky way to the night sky ? It would be x100 to the night atmosphere of the Zone
Sirbum69 13 Jul @ 12:32pm
just for info the mod and the game keep saying there differnt versions even though i have unscribed and resubscribed to the mod. If I die while playing I am not able to reload the latest save due to this. Kind of sucks it broke my save.
mt91pl 12 Jul @ 10:01am
Is there a way to set the weather to be always sunny? I hate that 90% of time it's either raining or cloudy
[TS3H] Dark Messiah 11 Jul @ 9:30am
Thanks for the reply, Mod works like a charm i am having zero issues. :MrFoster:
Mimouz 11 Jul @ 4:40am
Hello ACE

A cigarette smoking mod would be insanely good, especially with this level of immersion

There is an animation of smoking during main story

Thanks for the reply if something like this is in the work :)
shownofear 10 Jul @ 2:45pm
I am a fan of the mod. Any consideration to adding seasonal weather?
Ace  [author] 10 Jul @ 2:18pm
yes
[TS3H] Dark Messiah 10 Jul @ 1:52pm
Does this mod works with the new update?
Huxley 9 Jul @ 9:21pm
This must be that "S.T.A.L.K.E.R. clear sky" I've been hearing so much about. ;)
Mice 9 Jul @ 12:11pm
Ok, will try it. Thanks for repply. I would really like to use this mod, it improves atmosfear a lot👍
Ace  [author] 9 Jul @ 10:30am
My mod should not cause memory leaks as there i 0 logic or programming in the mod. Please, clear you shader cache in %APPDATA%/local/NVIDIA/DXCACHE and delete everything
Mice 9 Jul @ 9:48am
Everytime I try to use this mode I get memory leak after a while and then freeze/crash. Been trying many times now and then, but always same. After unsubscribing everything goes back to normal. Shame, looks so good.
artemisfauxhammer 8 Jul @ 3:36pm
The weather mod looks great.

But, when the weather is "rainy/grey/thunder" the sky becomes visibly pixelated when you are moving around and looking at the sky.

I would love to see this fixed as this mod really adds to the atmosphere of the zone.
Ace  [author] 8 Jul @ 2:10pm
Only time will tell. Let me know if it worked out!
demonbarber 8 Jul @ 1:52pm
Well it's obviously the 25% that makes all the difference 😉. Do you think my problem is solved if I've had that custom weather or could it still be locked in 'normal' weather regions?
Ace  [author] 8 Jul @ 1:25pm
Its slightly modified by my mod but its mostly vanilla inspired. so GSC 75%, 25 me lol
demonbarber 8 Jul @ 12:35pm
Funnily enough I've been loading various saves with and without mods to see if that did anything. Went back to current save where I was in Rookie Village. Had some rain and then the mother of all thunder storms with wind, rain and a greenish hue. Don't know if that was your mod or default but was one of the most atmospheric bit of gaming I've ever done. Hopefully it's fixed it? If it was your mod then wow.
Ace  [author] 8 Jul @ 10:27am
Feels bad man, one thing i could suggest is trying to go to swapm, malachite, Rookie Village or Duga, which have custom Weather triggers. Might unstuck them for you
demonbarber 8 Jul @ 6:57am
Hey. Thanks for the response. No not running longer days. I'll have to wait for someone to bring a console mod to GN. Cheers away.
Ace  [author] 8 Jul @ 1:20am
You're not running any longer days mod by any chance?

Seems like there shouldn't be conflicts and you're just running into the classic Stuck Weather issue... unfortunately, from GeForceNow i do not know how to enable your console, sorry :/
demonbarber 8 Jul @ 1:12am
Hey. Not sure if anyone can help but since I've installed the mod my weather seems to be constantly bright and sunny. In terms of game time I've just got past Garbage and have been running the mod for about 3-4 hours real time. I know there are a couple of fixes mentioned in the forums around console commands but I'm running on GeforceNow so can only use mods on Workshop. I've tried loading old saves, with and without mods, disabling this mod and then installing again but nothing seems to make the weather change from clear skies. Even on old saves with no mods I'm still stuck on clear skies.
For info the other mods I've installed are Better Flashlight, Increased Carry Weight, Better Vaulting and Better Ballistics. Don't think there should be any conflicts there. Any ideas? Thanks.

Ace  [author] 5 Jul @ 9:33am
Yes this includes lightning, and I am looking on improving the moon as well
suchy1280 5 Jul @ 9:00am
Hi again. Now we are here on steam :) Mod works great like always even better, WOW. I have a two questions. This super lights from lightning they included in this version? and, can You do something with a Moon ? this pixels on it, they no good. Pffffffffffffffff. Regards.
Siuhy 1 Jul @ 12:21pm
Nice mod bro, do you know if its now possible to make a mod that changes zone to be more green instead of Orange?
Ace  [author] 1 Jul @ 10:28am
Complete includes all version. No need to use the modular files. I will update the descriptions for clarity
Beans 1 Jul @ 9:55am
if im understanding correctly i only need the MAIN mod with the emission mod for it to work? or does the COMPLETE mod encompass all of said sub-modules? sorry if this has already been asked but tyia!
❰𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐇❱ 1 Jul @ 7:05am
great mod :like13::radiate:
Ace  [author] 1 Jul @ 5:43am
Yes exactly. I think I will modify a bit more to make sure people understand that its 2 different ways of installing the mod
B9 1 Jul @ 1:32am
Very excited about the new update! Am I understanding correctly that this page will remain as a Complete version (base weather overhauls, emission changes etc. all included) and new pages you created today should not be subscribed to at the same time?
Oleksii 30 Jun @ 10:06pm
you mod is rad, keep up the good work!
Ace  [author] 30 Jun @ 4:03pm
Will eventually work on that
