Im having an issue where whenever i start any assault, it spawns the enemies its supposed to spawn, but it also spawns combine soldiers for some reason

@FireworkJumper AFAIK addon NPCs should work fine, make sure you entered the class name correctly, though if it still doesn't work it may be that the addon NPC is missing specific variables needed for them to spawn with this addon

@Metabreaker You mostly just listed problems with the original RAIDS addon, problems neither the original creator or I can fix.
This addon relies on AI nodes to spawn NPCs, without them the addon has no information on where to or not to spawn NPCs.
Navmesh Optimizer lowers the count of navmesh points and possibly even removes AI nodes, so that may be the problem.
And yes, the addon requires the map to be AI noded.
I can't really do anything, best you can do is look for fan made navmesh versions of maps and hope they have AI nodes or ask the original creator to make AI nodes for the map.

I don't know what the reason is, but if I play on a map where the navmesh is generated using the "navmesh optimizer" addon, then the npc doesn't spawn, and if they do, then only one, they also don't move, and if you get closer, it happens that they disappear. It works fine for me only on maps where there is already a pre-installed navmesh, and not all of them :steamsad:

I can only add half life npcs to the custom list right? because every time I try to spawn npcs from other addons I keep getting an errorr

@G0JPG4 The addon may not work well on weaker systems since it utilizes a bunch of math, raycasting and pathfinding to spawn NPCs. Try spawning just 1 NPC on a small, well noded map, then move up to see what your PC can handle.

@FireworkJumper If you mean only spawning shotgunners then not really. Shotgunners are a skin of the combines, not separate classes, though you can spawn NPCs with specific weapons by using the custom weapons feature.

Sorry @The Man behind The Taco, I was going to fix that but got carried away with work and forgot. I fixed the issue with custom NPCs not getting removed and also fixed removal by index. Also @deded6750, I've added that too, you can spawn many different assaults at once. Just be warned, most will fight each other (for example combines and rebels).

im trying to remove the npc but it won't remove it. it keeps giving me errors. also am i able to make my custom npcs seperate so i can spawn one custom npc then the other?

Add a random chance for patrols instead of all the NPCs going on patrol mode if possible

hey dude, can you fix problem with removing custom npcs? like when i remove 1, it says that he`s removed but when i check list or start a raid they still appear. Can you fix that please?

@Mar'k best choice for you right now would be to enable custom weapons and then clear the custom weapons script. This will either cause an error or spawn NPCs without weapons, I don't really remember.

i wish i could make custom entity raids by using the npc's name instead of combine or rebel so i could spawn in crows to duckhunt

I like the new additions EXCEPT the indoors only spawning. On occasion, NPCs will spawn and get stuck in areas of buildings that aren't accessible and if you're playing on a map where there's more land then buildings all the NPCs just get crammed into buildings. The indoors feature should be togglable if possible. Otherwise, I prefer this version of raids
