@-Forest- We're glad you liked it. We appreciate it. Thank you. :WaterCrystal: :phoenixheart:

About the name.. There are several hints scattered throughout the maps about his name, especially in the secret terminal in Egypt and in a hexa QR Code in the Medieval map.. these are major clues.

If you want, you can read my guide to all the terminals and QR Codes and discover it for yourself. But if you just want the answer, the robot's name is Orion.

That was like a mini game all by itself and a Great Concept! You truly think outside the box! Recorders aren't my favorite, I don't see them and say, oh fun. If it hadn't been for the way you constructed this and if it was just few puzzles I probably wouldn't have finished. Already finished and was looking thru your information on walk-thru's and noticed forgot the Angel Puzzle so went back and did that. So all this stuff about stars, knights, constellations and I thought would learn the Prisoner's Name. Did I miss it. Looked thru the comments and no one is asking so I will: What is the Prisoners Name?

Really remarkable what you accomplished.

Hint 2: But for those who want the definitive answer, it's in the temple.
phoenix™  [author] 9 Jul @ 12:04pm
@VapeInVR Hint: The QR code in front of the levers is the most important one.
VapeInVR 8 Jul @ 7:12pm
Is anyone making progress with mentioned secret puzzle? There's so many W2S1R3F1 qr hints. Google says they're possibly coordinates in a 3D euclidean grid, which tracks obviously this is euclidean space. But so many numbers posted around,
And "shine your silhouette against the sky to wake the sun god" - but from where? This one is above my paygrade so hints/solution appreciated. It's my final task on this map.
phoenix™  [author] 8 Jul @ 5:37am
@SoundingBites They are part of the secret puzzle, but not necessarily to solve it.
SoundingBites 8 Jul @ 4:54am
That was fun alright, But I still have a few questions. What's with all the 'hints' I found in one of the pyramids W1W2R3S2R1 etc.
SoundingBites 6 Jul @ 9:01am
Finally... my first sigil (3 locks) :steamhappy: Great job btw
Duo 6 Jul @ 1:16am
@phoenix: it was so damn obvious and I couldn't even see that there was space there. I need to get my eyes checked. XD
VapeInVR 5 Jul @ 4:23pm
@fletcher1 - Goddamn, that's just sadistic. I usually enjoy recorder levels but having to cross beams and having to get locked in while your recording does asymmetrical connections, that's cruelty; no wonder I had to take a break. Me no smart enuff for such nonsents lols
VapeInVR 5 Jul @ 4:12pm
@Swissorion - THAT was finicky af (Tight Space). I had it right all along, but seems you must drop the blocking connector at just the right time. After many attempts the grate finally stopped moving. I got my sigil and then tried to repeat placing that blocking connector. It took a dozen tries to succeed, and I couldn't do it a 3rd time. That's officially my least favorite puzzle. Thank you for the screenshot that confirmed the solution was correct or I'd have assumed there must be another way.
dark_fibre 5 Jul @ 7:19am
I found a way to solve Double Block without starting the reorder whilst standing on the switch :

This was a fun, solid set of puzzles. I always dig a community mod that makes me try to approach some mechanics in a new way, and there are a few of those in this set. Also, the narrative fits great into story of Talos Principle, which is awesome. Great mod!
VapeInVR 4 Jul @ 7:20pm
Swissorion - yup that's exactly what I did. Going to try it again right now again. Idk how it glitched on me but confident a reboot will have fixed whatever. Thanks ttyl
neurhlp 4 Jul @ 1:42pm
wow, I gave a completely different solution to the Double Block. I climbed into the cage and blocked the beam with my own body, while the cube was floating.
fletcher1 4 Jul @ 12:25pm
Thank You phoenix ! Somehow i've missed it.
A or THE key-element in Double Block is to start the recorder at a certain progress state while standing on the plate. An unexpected behaviour which i never couldn't guess...
phoenix™  [author] 4 Jul @ 12:15pm
@fletcher1 If you want, here is the walkthrough for all the puzzles.

Hardy P 4 Jul @ 12:07pm
Thank you for keeping Tight spaces simple and without red herrings, these were all great puzzles :qr:
fletcher1 4 Jul @ 11:57am
A solution video for Lunar Eclipse is on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iISa4fCJVM
The solution is asymmetrical - i always tried to it symmetrical.
Just one more puzzle to do - Double Block - seems i also have to wait for a solution.
Many people are talking about Tight Space : That one i could do by myself - including the blue external target on the angel.
Bonesun 4 Jul @ 5:39am
Thanks @VapeInVR; you can indeed, but you have to use all three connectors to solve it and then there are none left to connect to the angel.

Like I said, I wasn't after a hint, I was curious to know if anyone had activated the angel's blue target yet.

I should add that I initially tried to solve Tight Space the way it's shown in the video and I couldn't get it to work either. If, however, you connect the third connector to the red light source, the connector behind the blue light source and the red target that helps to open the sigil chamber, then put it down a little closer to the right-hand wall than is shown in the video, the connection between the third connector and the sigil-chamber red target will block the connection between the red light source and the red target that opens the blue light source chamber. It seems more elegant to me, too.
ineluctable_assasin 4 Jul @ 5:03am
This was my solution to tight space which, I'm sure you'll agree, is infinitely superior,:

I can't get my head around all but the simplest crossing beam/phasing puzzles. In fact, they give me the rage.
Tetramouse 4 Jul @ 4:10am
@phoenix™ The part i'm confused by is why the recorded player starts in a different place than in the recording
phoenix™  [author] 4 Jul @ 3:59am
@Tetramouse With the pause points, it's possible to record the cube up there using the fan.
Tetramouse 4 Jul @ 3:34am
After watching the solution video for "Double block" i'm very confused on why that works. Has the recorder always worked like that or is it a bug?
VapeInVR 3 Jul @ 7:29pm
Thanks phoenix.. I'm confused now as that's exactly how - and I mean exact positions of connectors - that I did Tight Space but the grate kept closing. I'm hoping that it was a jinx and will work next bootup. Enjoying the map a lot, triple AAA (Agony Architect Phoenix?)
VapeInVR 3 Jul @ 7:16pm
You can get a connection to the angel from within Tight Spaces, actually. But first you must solve it since the grate closes faster than a sun/receiver can power up.
Bonesun 3 Jul @ 6:23pm
I found 'Tight Space' to be of the same level of difficulty as some of the easier 'In the Beginning' puzzles. It was baffling at first, then when it became clear that there was only one way it could be done, fairly easy.

What has held me up longest is how to activate the blue target on the angel that guards the fan in the out-of-puzzle area in the Medieval zone. There's no line of sight connection from within any of the puzzles and I can't find a puzzle from which a jammer or connector can be smuggled out. I'm not after a hint, but I'm curious to know if anybody has managed to obtain the fan and ride it up to the elevated terminal.
phoenix™  [author] 3 Jul @ 6:01pm
We posted the solution for "Tight Space". We'll be posting the walkthrough here in this thread.

fletcher1 3 Jul @ 11:44am
@shlam: Can you tell me how to cheese it? I can't solve it the intended way. Puzzles this difficult doesn't deserve to be solved the intended way.
Tzardok 3 Jul @ 10:10am
I don't get Tight Spaces either. Like, I try to redirect the red beam around the blue emitter, but I can't get the damn grate to stay open.
joridiculous 3 Jul @ 7:46am
this looked fun, then i saw the POS recorder in every puzzle. no thanks.
VapeInVR 3 Jul @ 1:29am
Swissorion -na you were smoking it bro, u still are. How does Tight Spaces work - I redirect red around the blue laser and back out. It *should* work, I can see the red sun fill up without being crossed by blue. Is that the solution?
Duo 2 Jul @ 9:31pm
I get that I have to block the red and redirect it in Tight Space, but it looks like everything is on the same plane. There's not much fun in this type of "just keep moving them around until you find the one little spot" puzzles. The rest of the puzzles have been pretty interesting.
ineluctable_assasin 2 Jul @ 1:43pm
Not an expert, but have you done obvious stuff like unsubscribe, resubscribe. Validate files? You're not launching in moddable mode? Might be clashing with another workshop item. Things that happened to me before.
Half Dragoness 2 Jul @ 1:20pm
I realise this is not your fault and there's nothing you personally can do about this but every time I try to load this it crashes the game. I have sent some crash reports, not sure what's going on but hopefully I will get to play one day.
Swissorion 2 Jul @ 7:18am
Generally I'm a slow mover and some puzzles keeps me busy for a very long time. Therefore I'm solving only 1 puzzle per day.
Swissorion 2 Jul @ 7:15am
Medieval map is completed and now I'm in Egypts land and just solved "Tower of Cubes". This was a very nice puzzle and required a few steps to complete. Although I don't like recorder puzzles, this was fun. You start without a clue and all of a sudden you see a possibility. Took me several retries until all was recorded and settled correctly. Other Egypts puzzle look quite difficult from the very first glimpse I took.
VapeInVR 2 Jul @ 6:32am
@Swissorion - I thought the teleporter was the end, then I saw the true scale thanks. I'm just 2 sigils away now. "I'll Do It On My Own" was easy to me cos the fan that hardly blows and a platform were quite a hint. You get to the end?

@RFC - if you can patch things easy there's a spelling error in the 2nd computer you use, "an long limbo" ;)
shlam 2 Jul @ 3:36am
these were mostly quite fun. unashamedly cheesed lunar eclipse because i dont like maps where you instantly see the solution but need to trial and error until it works
Half Dragoness 1 Jul @ 2:51pm
I just wanted to flag that I really want to play this, but so far every time I press play the game crashes. I have sent crash reports.
RFC  [author] 1 Jul @ 7:16am
@PrologicMind No. That's not the intended solution. Thanks for finding it, we'll patch it out.
PrologicMind 1 Jul @ 6:41am
Is it intented solution or not? https://youtu.be/owkKxy3YVbA
Swissorion 1 Jul @ 5:45am
Thanks RFC: The space is really very tight. I finally did it. Now continuing with Egypt map.
RFC  [author] 1 Jul @ 4:39am
@Seissorion Small hint: You have to redirect the red beam, while also blocking it, so the blue beam can pass through.
Swissorion 1 Jul @ 4:33am
Any hint for Thight Space ? I'm stuck since hours.
RFC  [author] 1 Jul @ 4:32am
@Tetramouse no, it's not necessary to have any timing logic to solve that puzzle.
Swissorion 1 Jul @ 4:32am
@VapelnVR: Do you mean the iron bars of the back door?
You need to take out the jammer go recording and taking it out. then you can open the last closed blue gate to get access to the platform, which is needed to for getting access to the teleporter below the red emitter.
Tetramouse 1 Jul @ 3:49am
Is quick timing with checkpoints necessary in "Double Block" or is there a clean solution?
VapeInVR 30 Jun @ 8:11pm
@Swissorion - Got it, I was in the trap the game warns you about, your own conceptions of how you think it should solve can blind you to other solutions.
I couldn't see the window because my mind only saw the door. Lol.
But now what? I went through the next section, which spills back out into the main room. Where's the 3rd puzzle? And 4th and 5th? I thought the switch that opens the bars would also open the next puzzle, but nothing is different now. Jesus lol
