There is a mod setting to disable beer as weapons as well.

yeah cant count how many times, with my mods they auto equip the dam logs.....just because it swings faster does not mean I want you to use the wood log, use the dam two handed weapon I gave you for a reason pawn!

[Ver 1.2.0] You can now disable beer in mod setting as well.

Could use a mod like this for beers too, since the sidearms mod considers those weapons and they like to hang onto beers for whatever reason.

@ozzywizard Yeah, that's the thing. Most items in rimworld could be used as weapons, but most things aren't... except for WOOD LOGS, which is a logically sound but game-logically confusing addition.

You are right ! I have considered patching woods that way, but I just afraid to patch some special wood log that is made deliberately as weapons. On a second thought, your suggestion makes more sense.

Nice addition. If you wanted to make your patch broadly applicable to all wood types (and a few similar) you might consider using this as your patch XPath search:

Defs/ThingDef[@ParentName="ResourceVerbBase" and stuffProps/categories/li="Woody" and thingCategories/li="ResourcesRaw"]

That'll catch everything I mess with from Extended Woodworking, as well as the two you mention above, Natures Pretty Sweet, and Alpha Memes.
