Awright, Update has been pushed.
I once again apologize for any holdup and previous rude remarks. Hope you keep enjoying this project as it goes!

Aye, gonna work on that once I'm out of hospital for sure - probably a complete rework of most materials too.
Currently stuck for a little bit - so stay tuned, and apologies for the holdup!

would like to have a ingame preview, but looks pretty good so far!

The bakelite's high saturation and high alpha while being albedo-tinted make it looks like some shiny solidified fire. When i make non-shiny textures on albedo tint bases i usually make the alpha close to pitch black. A saturated color might work for this muted scheme but only if it's an accent color inbetween everything else to balance it. I'd suggest you not make a V2 and work on some more solid concepts though, the only reason i don't condemn solid color paints is because i want to post one this halloween.

It’s not anyone’s job to give you feedback, nobody owes you shit, also yes it is feedback to second notions because you’re confirming an opinion that you have no way of knowing if is actually agreed upon or a nitpick nobody else cares about

Gotta agree. Most of the texture work on it is too subtle to be visible as is, wholly because I'm too concerned about conflicting with the bakelite texture I've thrown in. There *are* patterns, but I can absolutely see that they're not clear enough. I'll get to go over this and brush over some things later on this week.

On the topic of custom wear, tried it and it didn't really work out (mostly cause I just wouldn't know what would look good as a custom wear with this, most people go with blood and I'd just go with more worn down metal or dust, which I've yet to find a way to make good looking).

But thanks regardless for the feedback. As mentioned, I'll get to brush things over soon enough.

this and the 2 recent paints are a far cry from your first paints.

there seems to be no coherent themes with this, just flat colors on a gun cause the paint system is limiting in what patterns can work, at least have subtle wear on the texture itself (not saying your paint needs custom wear, there's like 3 bases that support it.)

admittedly i like the colors but the grays get too dark, that darkest shade should be the second darkest one honestly, the texture work is minuscule and there are no interesting patterns going on with this.

Seconding the notion as on another post - constructive feedback is appreciated.

The black accents aren't any more vibrant to avoid distracting from the bakelite orange-yellow.
It's inspired by various AK-Types throughout the 50s to 80s - with milled silvery steels and gunmetal parts accented by orange-yellow bakelite (from much later models).

@ImAware You could also give some feedback on top of agreeing with him :steamhappy:

I agree with real

Black is a little flat for my tastes, whole thing is just pretty uninspired imo
