"!!Annoying Bug!! - For some reason (at least on my pc) the male_01 corpse at the beginning of map d1_canals_12, d2_coast_04 has missing textures, and spams the console with "bad reference count when being bound" error. After many attempts, I see no permanent fix to that, besides typing the command " ent_create npc_citizen model models/humans/group01/male_01.mdl ". For some reason spawning the citizen that way fixes the issue. What's even stranger, is that it seems to have a connection to what menu map background was loaded (seems like only the plaza and streetwar background maps are causing this)."
And this will likely apply to the rebels when you switch to Episode 2 for the White Forest backgrounds as well.
