The new showcase is awesome,man! Its funny to see ragdolls being worse than the three first ones,because they were very cool! That is so true,that GSC improved them on the Enhanced Edition. I see people complaining on the EE,but for me,the gameplay is a lot better! I hope GSC improves the ragdoll on 1.6!
By the way,SHAY,are you planning on releasing a mod fixing flying ragdolls too? I saw a YouTube video saying that he was testing a mod of yours fixing this issue!

I wouldn't downplay the work of the original animators of the death animations, i just personally don't find them fitting in a game like stalker 2 and also repetitive, and with reaction you mean post death by a friendly squad member who notices it? if so thats hard, but during their death animation yes absolutely and planning too

Thanks, bro, you added a spoonful of honey to the tar barrel, as the vanilla version of the animations is just terrible and made on the knee. Can we count on mods to add reactions to NPC bullet wounds? And tell me, what kind of support is waiting for this mod? :dealeruwu:

Sanwa, this is unrelated to my mod, i do not see how changing animations impacts performance drops but will take a look if more people report it, you are the first one :/

I'm experiencing massive performance drop after intense fight with lots of NPCs spawned by A-Life. My only workaround is to reboot the game every time this performance issue happens.

M4rkus, yes this is a known bug caused by update 1.5
My mod tries to lower it a bit but isn't only aimed at just lowering it :)

Good job. I don`t know why but when i`m playing and killing someone - enemies can fly also 20-30 meters away from the spot where they died. But not mutants. Interesting who have same bug.
Anyway i`ll try this mod and probabily it will help.

EurocorpFx, the mod does not remove the flying ragdoll bug introduced in 1.5
It uses it's own different animations with the body slightly lifted from the ground in initial phase of animation start so the occurence of flying ragdoll happens less due to collision with geometry :)

Lol after updating to 1.5 I experienced flying ragdolls and stuck npcs after death and I thought it was because of this mod, but I never installed it :D Gonna install it now! Thanks mate!

JoeDiver, yeah, i'm looking into that but either the way the skeletons and stuff is set up doesn't really allow it or my experience is limited in that
regard, in any case i'm studying and i've reached to animation modders

Will you possibly be remaking the skeleton in anyway. Body parts (esspecially arms) clip inside the body and it just looks bad. I've seen dudes whose legs cross inside of each other and arms just fold into their torso making them look like a one legged nub.

Guicoutinho12, I tried doing exactly that but the result is later lackluster. instead i've done the following: i handcrafted each animation for different directions, each animation throws the character in a certain initial stance. for headshot front its forward, back, left and right. for back its forward, for left its to right and for right its to left. I then added in an animation effect of the ragdoll to simulate ragdoll during animation so the ragdoll triggers when they are thrown into a direction creating a wider array of ragdolls that don't immediatly fall downwards. If i do only ragdoll instantly then i have to change the physical properties of NPC skeletons and this can have rather...unexpected results to say the least :/
